The father of the future writer was a career military officer. The family moved from one military town to another. Vladislav was born in Poland, in the old town of Wroclaw. It happened on June 6, 1971. Could parents think, giving a son such a name that in the future he will really become famous, "take hold of the glory"? Narrow cobbled streets, ancient houses woke up fantasy. And the inquisitive mind of neposeda as a sponge absorbed tales, legends, legends. Then new places began to alternate, as in a strange kaleidoscope.

There was a period of life in Alma-Ata, it was a whole 5 years in Mongolia, in a small town of Sain Shand, almost in the Gobi desert. There was Belarus and finally Russia, Nizhny Novgorod. Of course, traveling is interesting for any boy. Change of landscapes, acquaintance with new friends. Then he studied in Minsk. Like many boys of that time, he dreamed of flying, of heaven, of the cosmos. But by the time the graduation was over, the parents had moved to Nizhny Novgorod, and there they could not get a job by job. He joined the Interior Ministry. Apparently, this is in the blood of every man - the desire to protect, help, protect. And I worked for 20 years.

Creativity - doubts and insights

Vladislav Valentinovich constantly wrote. I wanted to put on paper, "put in order" reflections, stories from life, fantastic ideas and subjects. Only everything was "on the table," not even to friends. Only wife Irishka, as a true war friend, knew about writing, supported and cheered, sometimes grumbled if she sat up at an old computer. After all, there are two more daughters - Daria and Nastya, who need attention and care.

But most of the time, inspiration came in the hours of night duty. The company with a cup of strong coffee gave birth to stories about the Great Patriotic War and its heroes, fantastic "what would have happened if ...".

"Testament of ancestors" was an exception and a great beginning. The visit to Svetloyar to Vladimirskaya was struck by the imagination, sunk into the soul. Why did the whole city go under the water? Whence the lake? How did it all happen? Fantastic versions took shape first in an essay, and then grew to the story. Has risked. Posted in the online magazine "Samizdat" (SI). The sea of readers, the storm of reviews, laudatory and not very much. But it all began. Now Vladislav Strelkov is a popular author who writes in different genres, but more often - fighting fiction, mysticism, historical prose and poetry.
