Vitaly Raskalov: biography and personal life

Vitaly Raskalov is a famous photographer and blogger in Russia and abroad, and, as he himself said, a big problem for the security service of all high buildings. He was born in the Cherkassy region on 19.01.1993. When the whole family moved to Russia from Ukraine, Vitaly studied in grade 6. He graduated from high school in Moscow, but received no Russian citizenship. Then Raskalov entered the university at the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University, but dropped him in his first year. He considered this a useless affair and never received a higher education.

How it all began

In his teens Vitaly Raskalov liked to take photos, and so he bought a mirror camera. But it did not go any farther than this, the young man quickly realized that ordinary photo-cards already surprised no one. After a while, a new idea came to him to click on the camera from the roofs of high-rise buildings. So, the guy thought, he will get masterpiece photographs. Hills Raskalov is not afraid, from his words - his fear atrophied. Prior to the conquest of skyscrapers, Vitali professionally did not engage in sports. For his idea, the rover mastered the initial stage of parkour, learned to correctly jump, land and, of course, run fast, as often chasing occurs. Law enforcement officers and the security service did not appreciate the hobby of Vitaly. It rises to the roofs of buildings illegally. The guy does not worry at all that he can be expelled from China, the European Union and other countries. Claims that the name and surname are invented.

Rufing

Vitaly Raskalov is mostly popular in Russia, Germany and Ukraine. They heard about him when a young man created a famous blog, where he exhibited photos from conquered roofs. For fees not chasing, for him it is more of a hobby, which is closely related to work. The guy behind him has hundreds of ascents, but most of all he was remembered and liked: the main building of the Moscow State University, the Cologne Cathedral in Germany, the Shanghai Tower in China, the pyramid of Cheops in Egypt, the bridge on Russky Island in Vladivostok.

Rouffer often recounts memories of how he set himself up for three whole years to climb the tower of Moscow State University. It seemed that it was simply impossible to climb, because there is a separate elevator in her spire, and there is a combination lock. The next day, Vitaly and the guys puzzled over the password. I helped them, without knowing myself, a woman passing by. Raskalov remembered approximately what figures she was typing. Another 20 minutes he collected a mosaic and eventually managed to open the treasured door. Simply fantastic! And in order to conquer the famous Egyptian pyramid, he and his friend had to wait about five hours in the tomb so that they would not be spotted by guards.

Due to the fact that China has very strict laws for roferers, the insane "take-off" to the Shanghai Tower, 650 meters high, was an even greater adventure. Raskalov and his friends decided to climb there on the Chinese New Year, when the guards of order are not so attentive. Their team had to climb a hundred and twenty floors deep in the night, and then almost another day to wait there for good weather. Initially, Vitali and his friends climbed to the heights with the help of insurance, but it only hindered them. Most likely to fall if it is available. They all rely on their own strong hands. But somehow the rover nearly fell off the roof, and for a moment it became frightening. True, this did not last long.

Every year, Vitaly's partner, his partner in a mutual hobby, uploads the video to the public Internet.

Cooperation with TV channels

April 4, 2016 on the channel "Che" showed the premiere of the crazy show "Rufers". The program tells the public about a rather complex sport and the magnificence of attractions in different parts of the world. Vitali and his friend did all the series for a new talk show on their own, so there is no stage shooting and editing in them. TV viewers have the impression of being present, they can feel the height and similar emotions that the testers experience when they conquer skyscrapers. At the moment Vitaly Raskalov actively cooperates with well-known television channels NBC, CNN, BBC: he sells them video, where he and the team conquer the peaks. Exclusive materials are paid a lot and with pleasure, they are in great demand in the West. But the famous domestic channels, in truth, unfasten the purse are not in a hurry.

Journey to the abandoned hangars of the Baikonur cosmodrome

For Vitaly Raskalov to visit the space was a cherished dream. And after an acquaintance told about his visit to the cosmodrome, the question of how a young man will fulfill his old dream has fallen away. He and 6 of his friends decided to go there for the May holidays. Since Baikonur is in Kazakhstan, the guys flew to the city of Alma-Ata, then to Kyzyl-Orda by train and from there by taxi to the cosmodrome. Vitaly had to play the play in front of the taxi driver, so that the guy did not ask unnecessary questions. He said that he and his friend are taking English photographers who are eager to shoot celebrities in this country (four guys in a company from the UK).

It takes about 2 nights to get to Baikonur. Somewhere nearby was a mine, friends decided to spend the night there. When the friends got to the territory they needed, a very difficult path began. There are many buildings and railways. At last they reached the hangars. The view of the huge buildings was breathtaking. The guys made their way inside and, lighting up everything with lanterns around, gasped at what they saw. Then they settled down and sat down to eat. Vitaly told many interesting things about hangars. For example, that they can be brought back to life. Clean, paint - and here it is, amazing greatness. Nearby, in the other hangar, there is a rocket "Buran". In 2002, due to the fact that no one was servicing it, the roof of the building collapsed onto the rocket and damaged it. Some parts of the space "bird" were sold to China.

Personal life

Vitaly Raskalov, whose biography is full of surprises, conquers new heights all his free time, so he does not think about his personal life yet. From art, he likes movies more, and his favorite film is "Gattak". It's an amazing drama about the fact that for a person there are no barriers. If he wants - he will do everything for this! From his favorite literary works he prefers Remarque, and from modern ones - Gregory Roberts. On weekends, Vitaly rides a motorcycle and snowboard. Raskalov dreams of visiting countries such as Australia, North Korea, South Africa, New Zealand and Saudi Arabia.

Back to Ukraine

One day in 2011, when he flew from India, during the formation of new laws he was deported from Russia and was banned from entering the country until the autumn of 2016. Rufer returned to Ukraine, where he later participated in a rally on the Maidan in 2012. From there he began to travel to different countries: Thailand, China, America. The guy likes to ride a motorcycle around Phuket and study the jungle.

He washes himself and does exercises for the press. In hot countries, he dilutes the morning exercise by jogging, because climbing to the height requires not only courage and confidence, but also good physical preparation. He also looks through the news feeds on Facebook. He says that almost all of his friends are there. Vitali loves to read Wikipedia, in the priority of publications about countries, architecture and religion. Politics Vitali is not interested.
