Ulyanovsk forest park in the suburbs: ecotourism

Ulyanovsk Forest Park in the Moscow Region is a specially protected natural area since 2012, was planted as part of the protective forest belt of the capital in 1935. In the village of Rasskazovka, adjacent to the Ulyanovsk forest park, there is a recreation center "Gloria", which was recently called "The Pearl of the Moscow Region".

The forest park occupies a huge area, more than 2.5 thousand hectares, and is conditionally divided into quarters. On its territory flows along with the lush flowering herbs of the river Likova, two large creeks - Nameless and Catherine. Here, majestic spruce and pine trees, century-old oaks, graceful aspens, Russian birches, black alder, in some places lime and larch are found. There are many in the park of mushrooms and plants listed in the Red Book of the Moscow region, for example, Siberian iris and coral ezhovik.

In Ulyanovsk forest park rare species of woodpeckers, kestrels, passerine owls and other birds nest. In the forest, you can meet the horror, and in impenetrable places live hares, ermines, caresses, beavers and muskrats, squirrels, foxes, wild boars. Previously, moose were here, but now they are not.

The distance from Moscow to the Ulyanovsk forest park (in the photo below) is about 40 km, so the nature-awareness routes of the park are frequented by residents and guests of the capital.

Not far from the village of Ulyanovsk Forest Park is the horse farm, where you can learn the art of riding or just ride on a quiet horse. Nearby is also created a pond "Seagull" with a well-groomed infrastructure for recreation in the bosom of nature. The reservoir has an area of about 10 hectares, around it are numerous walking paths.

The main attraction of "Gloria" is a refined pond on which there is a well-developed beach area. There is a lot of fish in the reservoir, which attracts lovers of fishing every year.

The recreation area in the Ulyanovsk forest park is located not far from a quiet forest lake, along the shore which is a pleasant stroll. The picturesque nature of these places beckons Muscovites and visitors to the capital not only in summer, but also at other times of the year.

In the spring, it begins to smell earlier than in the city. On the thawed patches one can find the first snowdrops, the forest birds begin to sing in a different way. And in autumn nature appears here in all its splendor. In winter, many tourists come here traditionally to celebrate the New Year and spend Christmas holidays.

Holidaymakers are accommodated in a large chopped log house guest house, which is designed for 15 rooms of different categories: luxury, junior suite and standard with a modern interior, made according to an individual design decision. Two large restaurants - "Gloria" in the form of a ship and "Cave" - have been created to supply guests. Here they prepare refined dishes not only of traditional Russian, but also of European cuisine. Fans of songs for karaoke and dancing gather in the "Cave". On the beach since the summer of this year began to operate "Beer Bar" with a dried fish, which quickly gained popularity among holidaymakers.

Opportunities for active recreation for older guests are represented by a paintball zone, fishing, wakeboarding. Beach holidays and walks in the wonderful forest trails - for all ages.

For lovers of fishing are equipped with special places, where there is quiet calm water and there are no bathing. All necessary equipment can be rented.

Literally a hundred meters from the base is the most beautiful temple of the Icon of Our Lady "Undying color", after visiting which the feeling of peace and tranquility fills the soul even more. If you want, you can drive about 10-15 minutes and visit the Trinity Church and the Assumption.
