The back sofa is cramped, which is expected. Especially there is not enough room for the knees. The luggage compartment has a rather large volume - 465 liters, so with the loading of things problems should arise.

Driving performance

The Hyundai car is aggregated by an atmospheric powerplant of 1.6 (123 hp) and a six-speed manual transmission.

In the city power is more than enough, and on the road you do not feel defective. "Korean" pulls well in the low-speed zone and quickly spin on high (until the cut-off) - so you can describe the technical tuning "Solaris" (sedan). The dynamics are excellent up to 140 kilometers per hour. Then, the small potential of the engine makes itself felt, and the car's fervor is gradually coming to naught. The gearbox has well-chosen gear ratios, but the clarity of the switches is mediocre.

In the turns, there is a lack of maneuverability, as a result of which the front axle is shifted outward to a predetermined trajectory. The steering wheel effort is "unnatural" - the steering is easy even at high speeds. This does not contribute to the rapid passage of the turns, although the rolls are small.

Tuning "Solaris" (sedan) includes long-haul, energy-intensive suspension, which provides a good level of comfort - successfully swallows unevenness of small and medium sizes. Disadvantage can be considered some jumping, arising on the road protuberances. Sound insulation by the standards of the segment is at a high level - aerodynamic noise penetrates into the cabin only at speeds over 120 kilometers per hour, and the engine becomes apparent when it reaches 3500 rpm.

The result

"Hyundai Solaris" is one of the most optimal offers in the class. A good price / quality ratio, as well as satisfactory driving properties, will appeal to many consumers of any age category and gender.
