Treatment of flux in the home: recipes of traditional medicine

Such a concept and diagnosis, as a flux, in the terminology of physicians actually does not exist. This is a common name for swelling on the cheek due to a sick or already dead tooth. Flux, that is swelling of the cheek, is a consequence of periostitis - a purulent inflammation of the body of the periosteum or jaw. Often, such a problem can occur when infection occurs after tooth extraction.

Since the flux is accompanied by symptoms such as fever, swelling of the cheeks, aching pain in the jaw, which can give into the ear, it causes a lot of trouble to the patient. Toothache interferes with concentrating and falling asleep, and the changed form of the face makes it impossible to go out into the street. If you do not have the opportunity to immediately seek qualified dental care, then you can try to treat the flux at home with the help of alternative medicine. So at least you can ease your suffering. But with a visit to the doctor all the same, try not to delay!

So, the first and very important recommendation on how to cure the flux at home. Self-medication in no case should suggest any warming compresses. Heat is the ideal environment for pus to actively spread into tissues further and further.

Flux treatment at home: rinsing solutions

1. Tablespoon of alcohol solution of chlorophyllipt (sold in any pharmacy) diluted in a quarter of a liter of warm water.

2. Traditional rinse with water and sea salt.

3. Make a soda-brine solution. Dissolve in boiling water over a teaspoon of soda and salt. Allow the liquid to cool to room temperature. Every couple of hours, rinse your mouth with this rasvor.

4. Pour boiling water (200 ml) calendula (1 teaspoon). Allow to stand under the lid and cool completely. Then you can start rinsing your mouth. Instead of infusion of marigold, you can use chamomile infusion, prepared in a similar way.

5. To perform flux treatment at home, you can prepare a simple but effective herbal remedy. For this, take St. John's wort (4 parts), bark of oak (2 parts), sage (3 parts). Mix all the herbs, and then sprinkle a part (3 tablespoons) of them and pour boiling water (1 L). Let it brew and cool completely. Rinse your mouth with infusion at least ten times a day.

Flux treatment at home: compresses

1. Apply to the inflamed area a leaf of cabbage cooked for three minutes.

2. Mix a teaspoon of clove oil with a tablespoon of any other vegetable (for example, sunflower or olive). Moisten cotton wool in oil solution and attach to the place that hurts.

3. Finely chop the onion, squeeze the juice. Wipe the cotton swab in the onion juice and attach to the tooth, which is sick.

4. In the middle of the gauze napkin, put a teaspoon of soda, lightly moisten with water and attach to the problem tooth.

If you intend to treat flux at home using compresses, then get sterile bandages, cotton wool and gauze napkins.

Treatment of flux in the home: ointments

1. In an enamel saucepan pour the sunflower oil (250 ml) and put on a small fire. There also put a piece of beeswax in the size of boxes, egg yolk (pre-cook it hard-boiled). Stir the contents of the pan, remove from heat (do not bring to a boil) and insist 15 minutes. After filter, and when the ointment has cooled, put it in the refrigerator - there it will thicken. This ointment is effective in the occurrence of any inflammatory processes.

2. Mix 3 ointments: ichthyol, streptomycid and streptomycin in equal parts and apply the composition to the flux.

3. Mix the butter (50 g) and the dried herb powder called cinnamon (10 g). The resulting ointment is applied to the flux with a thin layer and gently rub. Do this procedure is recommended twice a day.

Do not treat the flux lightly. Swelling of the cheek is only the beginning of the disease. Then it can develop into an abscess and, as a consequence, the formation of phlegmon. The latter is accompanied by an uncontrolled spread of pus already throughout the body, which can provoke a fatal outcome.
