Trainers Zenith. 1936-1970

Football Club "Zenith" is one of the oldest and titled clubs in Russia. Throughout history, the team had both ups and downs. For all its existence the club from St. Petersburg has seen many mentors.   • Konstantin Ivanovich Lemeshev (1944-1945, 1948-1950). Under the guidance of this mentor, "Zenith" was able to win the first trophy - the USSR Cup. The cup was held despite the fact that the war was not over yet. He was dismissed after a devastating defeat from CDKA. The coach returned in 1948. Under his leadership, the team showed a beautiful and colorful game. Soon Lemeshev diagnosed heart problems, but he continued to train. At one of the matches, he felt ill and was sent to the hospital, and soon passed away.
  • Mikhail Pavlovich Butusov (1946). The head coach of Zenit, under whose leadership the team played for the first time in international matches. Speeches in the championship were unsatisfactory, and soon he resigned.
  • Ivan Mikhailovich Talanov (1946-1948). Mentor spent two years in the team, but did not have time to earn the trophies.
  • Georgiy Semenovich Lasin (1950-1951). Coaches "Zenith" in different ways led him. It was not good for Lazin. In the team, teamwork was broken, more frequent cases of violation of discipline. At the end of the season, he left the post.
  • Vladimir Ivanovich Lemeshev (1952-1954). Brother Constantine Lemeshev. During the leadership he took 7th and 5th place. After the unsuccessful start of the season of the 54th year, he left the post.
  • Nikolai Mikhailovich Lokshinov (1954-1955). The result of mentoring was the 7th and 8th place, as well as the USSR Cup semi-final.

Coaches "Zenith" (1956-1970)

  • Arkady I. Alov (1956-1957, 1967). I was engaged in rejuvenating the composition, but not having the proper skills, I did not bring any result. What happened at the time was a football riot forced to change the entire leadership. Returned to the ranks of "Zenith" in 10 years, but to fix a difficult situation at that time in the team could not.

  • Gennady Borisovich Bondarenko (1960). A young coach who was just over 30 years old. Spent in the team, he only season.

Of course, in the future, Zenit also received money and coaches from other countries and championships, who had a deeper knowledge of tactical schemes and types of play, but these people were the primary members of the club.
