The system of pedagogical sciences: a brief classification

The system of pedagogical sciences is an interesting and wide range of questions for study, which is studied by both domestic and foreign researchers. Their views are different, but they can all be brought to a common denominator and talk about the most used classifications of pedagogical sciences for today.

So, the structure of pedagogical sciences includes history and theory of pedagogy. The first discipline studies the history of development of the basic ideas of pedagogy, and also reveals the ways of development of education systems in different countries and among diverse peoples. And the theory of pedagogy consists of the following subsections: general pedagogy, didactics, theory of upbringing, the theory of organization and management of the educational process, and methods of educational work.

The modern system of pedagogical sciences includes classification by age and subject sign. So, preschool, school pedagogy, pedagogy of professional education, pedagogy of higher education, production, military, space, social, comparative, ethnopedagogics and gerontopedagogics differ. Here we also include family pedagogy and pedagogy of communication. And separately there is also pedudology, which deals with the issues of professional training of people who have chosen the path of the teacher for themselves.

On the value-semantic basis, the system of pedagogical sciences includes authoritarian, humanistic, legal, Orthodox, and pedagogy of cooperation.

Correction and developmental feature in the structure of pedagogical sciences includes defectology, surdopedagogy, typhlopedagogy, oligophrenopedagogy, logopedagogics, correction, correctional labor pedagogy, conductive pedagogy, curative, preventive, rehabilitation and for people of special talent.

The listed system of pedagogical sciences confirms the idea that pedagogy is an independent, rather complex science that plays an important role in human life. So, the general pedagogy is engaged in studying the basic laws to which processes of education and training are subordinated and all the other sections listed above are its constituent elements. The second place in the breadth of covered issues is the age-related sector. She studies all the moments of the upbringing of a person from birth to an adult state. And today there is even gerontopedagogika, dealing with the issues of correct aging.

The system of pedagogical sciences assigns a considerable place to private methods or methods of teaching various subjects in schools and other educational institutions. They also include issues of physical, moral, artistic, environmental and other aspects of upbringing. This is due to the fact that each subject, discipline and direction of education and upbringing has not only general, but also specific requirements applied in the performance of their tasks.

And one more branch that the modern system of pedagogical sciences began to allocate relatively recently is comparative or comparative pedagogy. By its name it can be seen that this science studies the trends in the development of pedagogical thought in different countries in comparative, international terms. Its goal is the enrichment of science with advanced techniques and methods applied in different parts of the globe with regard to domestic issues of education and upbringing.

And, finally, today it is impossible to imagine pedagogical science without the use of modern technologies. The information industry is becoming more and more popular today and is actively used in the management of the processes of upbringing and education.
