It was based on the real story of Donna Dannenfelser, who worked as a psychologist in the American football team "New York Jets". In the center of the plot of the series "Necessary cruelty" is Denny Santino - just a divorced single mother who alone brings up two children: the daughter of Lindsay and Ray's son. In search of consolation, she spends the night with the coach of the professional football team Matt, after which it undertakes to help one of its players Terrence King. This is a typical capricious star that has lost success and stability in the game. Denis decides that standard methods will not suit a stellar patient, and tries to apply a "hard" approach to the client. Such necessary cruelty helps Terrence to regain the former game. The actors in the TV series "Necessary cruelty" are far from stellar, but this makes it more alive and realistic. Actress Kalli Thorn performed well the role of the main character - a strong and independent woman. The rest of the artists also look quite harmonious and interesting.
