The drug "Conium" refers to one-component homeopathic medicines. Has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, sedative and anticonvulsant action. It contains an extract of one of the most poisonous plants of the umbellate family - the hemlock spotted.

Forms of release

This homeopathic remedy can be purchased as an ointment (external use) and in the form of granules for oral administration.

Active ingredient ointments "Conium" - tincture "Conium D1" (1 g), auxiliary ingredients added in the form of Vaseline medical and lanolin anhydrous.

About the plant

It is a two-year-old plant, reaching a height of two meters. Call it so steel because of the toxic effects on the body. Since in the first year the hemlock consists of a bundle of radical leaves resembling parsley or carrots, they can easily be poisoned. The first signs of poisoning are headache and dizziness. The stem grows in the second year. It becomes branched, hollow, with a bluish tint and has dark red spots beneath. White small flowers are stacked in uneven umbrellas. The fruit is the seed. It grows everywhere except in the Far North.
