The combination of keys on the keyboard and their use in specialized programs

Modern computers are mostly equipped with a mouse or touchpad, which allows you to quickly and conveniently use all the features and functions in all kinds of interfaces used by the programs. However, the mouse is not always available. This in many respects causes the difficulty in working with the computer. Controlling it with the help of other external input devices is a requirement to know a certain key combination on the keyboard. The ability to work only with the keyboard (without the mouse) allows you to conveniently manage windows and computer capabilities, although it does not have the mobility that can be achieved by using the specified external device. In doing this, in some manipulations, the keyboard is even better, more optimal, especially if the user is accustomed to working with it.

This feature implements a certain key combination on the keyboard, which activate the execution of some functions. At the same time, some independent buttons have their own special purpose, calling the "Start" menu, deleting the file or displaying help in the Windows programming interfaces.

Some buttons, when combined, however, customary for the user of the computer, activate the minor functions, which can also be carried out with the mouse, although their use by means of it is slightly slower. These are the keys for switching the language (Ctrl \ Shift or Alt \ Shift - depending on the settings), closing the window (Alt \ F4), calling the program's task manager (Ctrl \ Alt \ Del).

When working with interfaces of various programs, especially professional software environments intended for some works, a certain key combination on the keyboard activates the execution of a specialized function, which can also be called by activating the context menu in the software environment.

Such projects include design software, three - dimensional editors, editors of video or graphics, music and others. The same functions include copying text, a section of audio or video track, a selected fragment of graphics (Ctrl \ C), cutting out the same information (Ctrl \ X), pasting specific sections in the work program (Ctrl \ V). To cancel the performed actions it is possible by means of a combination (Ctrl \ Z). This target specialized combination of Windows keys is implemented in the operating system itself, therefore if the program for editing music, graphics or video was developed for this environment, then the buttons on the keyboard will activate the fulfillment of target tasks.

When working with some programs that perform processing of graphic, audio, video or text information, it often becomes necessary to switch between several windows for copying data or evaluating results in some emulators, as is done with 3D editors. And if you can copy keys very quickly, switching between windows is not always so, because there are several key combinations for this. The simplest is Alt \ Tab, which displays a list of open programs in the form of icons in the center of the display. By fully pressing the Alt key and using the Tab button, you can select the window that you want to display on top of the others.

It is noteworthy that the above combination of keys on the keyboard is not considered the most optimal and does not allow you to quickly switch between windows, especially if they are open a large number. Because it is better to use other combinations that allow you to speed up this process a little. This is a combination of the Alt \ Esc buttons, which allows you to go to the program window that is open and minimized immediately after the interface that was used before activating this key combination. Therefore, this type of transition between windows is much simpler and faster than using the previous combination.
