Than lubricate the cooler in the computer and laptop

For sure, every owner of a personal computer is familiar with the situation when, after several years (from one to three years, depending on the operating conditions), the computer starts to make noise, and it is necessary to understand what to lubricate the cooler. What could be better than playing a computer game after a hard day's work, when all the family members go to bed! But what is this? The wife grumbles discontentedly, and the child turns around too-the noise of the system unit hinders them. What happened? After all, before this noise was not, but now it is clearly audible. Before pointing out the culprit, we'll make a small mental journey inside the hull.

One of the properties of a conductor when passing an electric current along it is heating. Its value depends on the resistance of the conductor, current strength, operating frequency and some other factors. Since all electronic components, of which the computing equipment consists, are based on interaction with an electric current, in the course of their work they release thermal energy. In this case, it is undesirable and needs to be withdrawn, and the heating elements - in cooling. Ignoring this leads to disruption of normal functioning, up to thermal breakdown and the need for a subsequent expensive replacement. That's why on many microcircuits (CPU, voltage converters) a metal radiator is installed.

The first models of personal computers used these radiators for cooling components, and the method was called "passive cooling", since heat exchange occurs naturally in it. However, soon due to the constant increase in power and throughput, passive cooling became unable to dissipate the temperature from the surface of the chips. As a result, fans were installed on the radiators, which forced the blowing air flow (active cooling). Efficiency increased tens of times, but now with silence had to say goodbye forever. By the noise of the fans it was easy to determine if the computer was turned on. Any fan, sometimes called a cooler, is a rotating part, so it is subject to gradual wear, and the question "what can be lubricated by a cooler" is not trivial at all.

The cooler is designed quite simply: a metal shaft, one end of which is fixed by a locking ring, and the second is fitted with an impeller that creates a stream of air. The interaction of the magnetic fields of the spirit of the windings: located on the axis and the ring around, create a torque. Rotation of the axis is possible thanks to bearings - a system familiar to many. The noise of the system unit begins to increase due to the development of lubrication in the bearings, which means it's time to grease the cooler.

A simple question, at first glance, caused serious debates in the forums. Indeed, every user wants to know what to lubricate the cooler. First of all, you need to remember that in no case can you use edible vegetable or animal oils. Although immediately after that the noise will disappear, after a while the fan bearings can completely stop rotating, disabling its engine. Yet, what to lubricate the cooler? It's simple: everyone should answer himself, what would he lubricate the bearings and gears in the clock. Liquid mineral or synthetic oils! Anyone can come up with a few drops of which you can ask a friend of your car enthusiast. Even than? Lubricate the cooler with engine oil, complete with household clippers, as well as electric shavers. It is enough 1-2 drops of oil in the bearing, "with a reserve" should not be flooded.

We should refrain from the intention to use "solidol", "lithola" and thick grease ("1-13"), because the mass of grease will be squeezed out of the open bearing by centrifugal force and the desired effect will not be achieved.
