One of many such buildings is the Temple of St. Sergius in Ryazan. It attracts tourists with architecture created by the hands of modern architects. This amazing in its beauty complex consists of two temples - Sergius of Radonezh and Vvedensky. In addition, it is the House of the clergy, in which the School of Bell-ringers and the Sunday School now operate.

History

At the end of April 2000, the constituent assembly of the initiative group of believers decided to create a parish in honor of Sergius of Radonezh and ask the city authorities to allow the construction of a new church in Ryazan. The work was done tremendously, and as a result, at the intersection of Oka and Ryazan Avenue streets, the Moscow authorities allocated the necessary land, and Archbishop Arseny consecrated it. Fortunately, the project quickly appeared sponsors, who concurrently became also builders - a group of companies "TEN".

The construction of the temple

In 2003, work began on the construction of one of the two planned temples of the complex. The foundations were flooded, in mid-November, in the foundation of the future church, a consecrated stone was laid with a capsule containing the names of all voluntary donors.

In January 2005, a small church was crowned with a cross, and on December 3 the temple of Sergius of Radonezh in Ryazan was consecrated. However, work on its registration was still ongoing.

Construction of the second temple

On April 22, 2006, an important event occurred for thousands of parishioners - the Temple of Sergius of Radonezh on Ryazan (photo you see in our article) was visited by Patriarch Alexy II who was blessed for the construction of the second church - Vvedensky. In late November, the consecrated stone was laid in the foundation of the Vvedensky Cathedral, which was to become much larger than the first.

At the same time, the House of the clergy was consecrated. On December 10 the Sunday School hosted its first students. They are not only adults, but also their children. People came by families, and then they brought their friends to classes. Over time, for children were organized circles for teaching needlework, playing musical instruments, dancing. Appeared even his own puppet theater.

St. Sergius Church

The eponymous temple complex is an amazing miracle of modern Moscow. Built recently, he shakes his imagination with grace, elegance of architecture and Russian scope.

St. Sergius Church surprisingly takes us to the XVI century. It was at that time that such small temples were built in the Byzantine style.

In 2008, the Sergiy's temple in Ryazan was decorated with the majestic statue of Sergius of Radonezh. The interior decoration is amazing with its magnificence and quiet splendor. Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Very beautiful five-dome temple. It has a three-part apse, a porch and a one-headed belfry-gallery, which adjoins the northern corner of the building. This is an excellent example of the stylization of the forms of Russian church architecture of the 16th century. This is the main temple of the complex. It was built in three years (2006-2009).

Sanctification

On December 4, 2009, the Vvedensky Temple was consecrated by His Holiness Patriarch Kirill.

N. Yu. Khrustaleva - the chief architect of both churches, a member of the Moscow Union of Architects - was awarded a high award from the Moscow Patriarchate - the medal of Sergius of Radonezh I degree.

Several years in the temple of the Introduction, finishing works were carried out from the outside and from the inside. In 2010, the entrance doors were decorated with embossing, and in May 2012 a large-scale painting of the church walls began. This work was done by artists from the company "Viofaniya", which specializes in creating church interiors.

An example for the masters was the painting of the walls of the famous Assumption Cathedral, which is located in the Moscow Kremlin (XVIII century). Plots and their location were preserved, but peculiarities of the iconography of the 16th century were taken into account. The work used the best examples of murals of other churches.

In 2012, the Church of St. Sergius of Radonezh in Ryazan, with the blessing of Patriarch Kirill, became part of the new stauropegic parish.

Work with youth

At the complex, a youth association was created. His goal is to help young people who are just discovering Orthodoxy, are looking for the right landmarks and true values of life.
