How to cook beet cutlets? We will need:

For half a kilo of beets (about four pieces):

  • Vegetable oil - one and a half cups;
  • Manga - two tablespoons;
  • Salt - to taste;
  • Bread crumbs for breading.

Pre-washed, unpeeled root crops should be cooked until ready. Cool down. Peel the beetroot on a meat grinder or on a small grater. Prepared in this way, the beet mass is placed in thick-walled dishes and warmed well with the addition of vegetable oil. Then, continuously stirring, introduce semolina, which should be poured in small portions, making sure that no lumps are formed. On a small fire, without stopping stirring, boil the mass for ten minutes.

Cool, add salt and form cutlets, which will remain in the bread crumbs and fry in boiling vegetable oil until you get an appetizing golden crust.

Fry beet cutlets (the recipe for this is silent) is best in a pan with non-stick or ceramic coating. This will help to avoid their burning, as well as reduce the consumption of vegetable oil.
