Summer Holidays: Dzhubga

In the Tuapse region, on the banks of the Dzhubga bay, there is a surprisingly beautiful place that Shapsugs (indigenous people) call the "Valley of the Winds". This is a resort village Dzhubga, hiding in the forests, sprawling along the valley of the same name river. Here, young people and families who like to enjoy tranquility far from noisy centers like to stay. And people traveling on their cars often rest here.

Dzhubga was founded in 1864. First it was a village, then - a village, later - a village. In the sixties of the twentieth century, it received the status of a resort village.

The location of the village is very good: to Tuapse from here only 50 km, to Krasnodar - a little more than a hundred. Thanks to this neighborhood, many Kuban people come here on holiday for the weekend.

Dzhubga in the summer

A beautiful subtropical climate, coniferous forests and a breeze that blows here even on the most tender summer day, make this place unique and unique. Forest, mountain, river and sea created a special humid climate, similar to the Mediterranean. You can swim from May to October, but the hottest month is August, when the average temperature is set at +26 0 С.

One of the natural local attractions is Mount Hedgehog. From a distance, it resembles a big hedgehog that came to the shore to get drunk. Also in Dzhubga is located one of the largest Caucasian tiled dolmens, dating back to the 3rd millennium BC.

Of the entertainment should be noted museum "Fads of the forest" created and opened by local craftsman. Guests are greeted by a large concrete dinosaur, and in the museum are exhibited more than a thousand exhibits of wood.

For active pastime, you can choose jeep, hire ATVs and excursions. The village is located at the crossroads of three roads, so from here you can move though to Gelendzhik, at least to waterfalls, even to Abkhazia.

Cozy cafes and restaurants, offering local cuisine during the day, are filled with live music in the evening, and discos are held closer to the night.

Dzhubga: rest on the sea

Sea entertainment here is the same as everywhere: bananas, hydrocycles, tablets. Once a day a boat leaves the coast, carrying tourists to Inal Bay. In its center there is a lake with blue clay. Healing baths are absolutely free, and the remnants of curative mud resting run away to wash in the sea, why the bottom in this place also became blue.

The sea in the bay is affectionate, and the long beach, stretching for 800 meters, is strewn with fine pebbles alternating with sand. The entrance is flat and gentle, it is very popular with holidaymakers with young children.
