Still life "Apples" with different objects

Drawing is not such a difficult task as it seems at first glance. Even the beginner can draw a still-life "Apples".

"Apples in the bowl"

To draw a still life "Apples", you will need nature. You can find a photo or create your own composition. What do we have to do:

  1. First, mark on a sheet of paper, from where the light falls. This will help when you begin to draw shadows.
  2. Mark the horizon line, namely the table on which the bowl stands.
  3. Draw an oval that will serve as a cup. For convenience, draw a vertical and horizontal lines. Mark the location of the apples. Do this all by easily clicking on the pencil, because sketches often have to be adjusted.
  4. Give a cup shape, draw a bottom and finish with the shape of the apples, add twigs, mark the location of the highlights (should be on the upper convex part of the fruit) and the shadow (on the opposite side of the light source).
  5. Add a tone to the whole picture, except for the highlights.
  6. Add a shadow that falls from the bowl and is located inside it. Give the apples volume.

The drawing is ready!

"Apple and pear"

To draw a still-life "Apple and pear", you will also need either a photo or a nature. How to draw:

  1. Draw a line that indicates that the objects are on the surface. To begin with, it must be fuzzy, because in part it will have to be erased.
  2. Note where the light source is located.
  3. Design the shape of the fruit, place for the twigs. In order to create a pear, first draw a circle and an oval intersecting with it. Smoothly connect the two figures and erase the excess.
  4. Give fruits a clearer shape. Show that the apples narrow down, and they have a notch in place of the branch.
  5. Begin painting the figures. On the idea, one of the apples is burgundy, so it will be different. In the place where the figures touch, it is necessary to show a shadow falling from each other.
  6. To create a shadow, adjust the pressure of the pencil. Show glare, they are located on convex pieces of fruit, which are directed towards the light source. The shadow falls in the opposite direction from the light.
  7. Add specks to the apples.

"Pitcher and apple"

In order to get a still-life "Pitcher and apple next to the vase," you need:

  1. As always, first draw a horizon line and a light source.
  2. To outline the approximate shape of a vase, bowls with apples and, last but not least, a jug. At the tanks note the bottom, although it will not be visible, but it will help when drawing the form. Then extra lines can be erased.
  3. Draw the elements of the vase, its neck. Do the same with a jug and an apple.
  4. Mark the location of the shadow. She must be curly, because she falls from the pitcher. The shadow from the vase and the bowl with the apple breaks down because it falls on the wall. Mark the glare places.
  5. Denote the shadow, show the shape of the containers standing on the table.

Picture in color

Much more interesting is the still-life "Apple", which is decorated. It can be absolutely any materials. But not everyone can draw with colors, so start with pencils. Felt-tip pens are not suitable at all, as there is no possibility of a smooth transition of colors with them.

First, sketch with a simple pencil. Lines should be as pale as possible. Drawing with simple pencils, you can adjust the brightness by pressing force. Places of highlights are better not to touch at all.

Tips for drawing watercolor:

  • In order to paint a still-life "Apples" with watercolor, you will need a palette.
  • The lighter the color, the more water you need to mix the paint, and vice versa.
  • Begin by painting the entire surface of the object with paint, diluted with water. Then you can add details of brighter colors.
  • Surplus and streaks can be wiped with a paper towel.
  • You can apply a new layer only if the old one is dry.
  • The brush for drawing should be sharp, otherwise it will be difficult to work with it or the drawing will turn out careless.

Now you know how to create and paint a still life "Apples"!
