Wild cats

The rarest breed of spotted cats

Among affectionate pets, numbering about one hundred only officially recognized breeds, there are also rare enough, which can often be seen only at major international exhibitions. British cat

One of the most popular cats, the breeding of which has recently become especially fashionable. The spotted color of the tabby assumes the presence of obligatory elements in the color of the animal, such as the pattern on the forehead in the form of the letter "m", a bright spot on the surface of the ear, similar to a fingerprint, and a stroke of the primary color around the eyes and nose.

According to existing standards, it is required that the British spotted cat has one of three kinds of color: marble, brindle and spotted. With a marble color the pattern is very tight, with wide lines. Dark stripes stretch along the back and end with rings on the tail. The tiger tabby is notable for a few - these are narrow lateral strips on the sides, coming from the back. On the neck there is a necklace of small closed rings. Tabby is characterized by spots of different size and shape, chaotically located throughout the torso, including the paws. On the back and sides these spots are more ordered.

Lop-eared cat

Kittens of this breed are born with straight ears. Only by the end of the first month of life they acquire their original form. A feature of this breed are round or oblong spots with clear outlines. On the back, these specks merge into one continuous strip, stretching to the very tail. Kittens folded color tabby is very mobile, playful.
