Monks have sheltered a stray dog, and now he enjoys a new life

Have you ever seen a dog in a monastic vestment? But the former wandering dog named Friar Bigott wears it every day.

Inspiring story

Friar Bihoton was a normal stray dog until he was accommodated by the ministers of the monastery of St. Francis, located in Cochabamba, Bolivia.

The rescued dog was here not by chance, because St. Francis is considered the patron of animals. Therefore, it is quite logical that the monks handed the unfortunate dog a helping hand.

Now Friar Bigthoton is quite happy, fully enjoying his life.

According to the brothers, he loves to play and run. Monks are very fond of their ward and do their best to take care of him.

The dog was also used to wearing a monastic robe, which was sewn specially for him.

As representatives of the local animal rescue society say, it would be great if all churches took care of a few stray dogs.

This would serve as an excellent example for the inhabitants of Bolivia.

We hope that the story of the charming Friar Bigottone who lives in the monastery will inspire people around the world to pay attention to the stray dogs and do everything possible to give them a new home.

The same, in turn, will not fail to repay saviors with boundless love and devotion.
