What attracted the spinning braid so much that they are increasingly switching to it from a monofilament line? The answer is not as straightforward as it seems at first glance. The braided cord can not be called an ideal solution for spinning, at least because of its relative high cost. The friction force is higher, so you have to choose a quality and reliable tackle, and then regularly check its condition. Range cast is not as big as you want. And nevertheless the braid for spinning with its pluses whom you want will seduce.

It is not an example of a monofilament stronger. It does not stretch, but it does not twist. Nodes holds well. Ultraviolet is not afraid. Its service life is at least ten times longer. For all these parameters, the best indicators have not been achieved, but even so they are much higher than those of the monophyle.

And yet, when an angler makes a choice of braided spinning rods, he should be careful to take exactly what is most suitable for his gear and has a guaranteed quality.

Let's start with the balance of tackle, which is vital if we are talking about jigging. Powerful braided net, which is able not only to hold large fish, but also snags from the bottom, is not suitable for light spinning. The casting range will decrease, the bite will no longer be properly felt - and this is an incomplete list of all problems. Therefore, when choosing braids, proceed from the formula: the strength of the line should be three-fourths of the spinning power.

If the spinning net has an inscription of the type "zero stretching" on the packaging - this is another plus in favor of buying. This is the unconditional dignity of the braids, in one fell swoop covering all its shortcomings.

Another important plus - the presence of a braided cord outer shell. Immediately reduced friction, so painful for the spinning rings and roller coils (and therefore increases the casting range), and the fibers themselves braids are protected from abrasion. But keep in mind: the greater the thickness and density of the shell, the greater the residual deformation, up to unacceptable.

As for the cord material, the best spinning net is made of either nylon or modified polyethylene. The latter has very little in its bonus characteristics, but it is better.

The color of the cord should not be evaluated "on the shore" - the refraction of light in air and water is different. A yellow, green or blue fluorescent wire net will allow the fisherman to additionally monitor the wiring, and for fish already at a shallow depth will be almost invisible.

Finally - a few tips on how to avoid fakes.

• As a rule, they forge expensive high-quality goods. Therefore it is better if the spinning net is from a not very well-known manufacturer, but there will be more confidence in the authenticity of the product.

• Fine-text counterfeit does not use holographic labels, it's a loss. If such is present on the package, this is a weighty argument in favor of buying.

• Knowing the exact name of the manufacturer and the model of the braids will avoid the old technique, when by changing one letter in the name imitate the world-famous brand. Example: Sony and Soni.

• Always use the same methods for determining the authenticity of products as for other goods: firm information for the consumer on the package, the presence of the latter, the presence of a certified copy of the certificate from the seller, etc.

• Always check the quality of the package, label, bobbin, cord.

Search, try, evaluate. Be prepared for the discrepancy of the real parameters of the braided cord by what is claimed by the manufacturer. There can be absolutely amazing cases: a spinning net from an unnamed Chinese company with excellent qualities and an amazingly low price!
