early years

Kurilov Sergey was born on October 6, 1914 in Moscow. Ivan Ivanovich - the father of our hero, earned a living for the family, working in the smithy. Mother Anna Gavrilovna devoted time to raising children, who, besides Sergei, had three more.

At the end of high school, the boy decided to comprehend the profession of an architect in one of the capital's technical schools. However, the young man did not last long. To abandon the studies of the future artist caused an interest in artistic amateur performance, to which he devoted all his free time.

In 1932, our hero threw the technical school and entered the Theater School, where he learned the stage skills. Further study Kurilov Sergey continued in the creative studio, which functioned under the Moscow Art Theater. In the middle of the 30s the theater closed, which forced the boy to stop his studies.

Theatrical activity

In 1936, Sergei Kurilov received an offer to fill the acting troupe of the Moscow Youth Theater. In the war years, the artist received a redirection to Krasnoyarsk. Here he worked on the stage of the Pushkin Theater. In the capital, Sergei Kurilov returned in 1944. Initially, the actor worked in the theater Vakhtangov. Later he moved to the troupe of the Satire Theater.

And this is not surprising, because the actor was the best possible to get used to the image of a manly, intelligent and psychologically strong hero.

The first color film

In 1864, Sergei Kurilov starred in his first color film - the film "Maxim". In the tape, based on the adventure stories of writer Konstantin Stanyukovich, the actor got the role of captain of the sea corvette of Nikolai Fedorovich.

The film "Maksimka" tells about the crew of the ship "Bogatyr" that meets in the Atlantic Ocean an American ship, in the holds of which are black slaves. A few days later Russian sailors save a Negro boy. The guy, now called Maxim, becomes a real favorite of the team. The boy not only helps the crew members to acquire the sense of existence, but also displays courage in the operation to save the captain of the ship "Bogatyr". Personal life

Even while studying at the Moscow Art Theater, Sergei Ivanovich met his future wife - actress Nina Pavlovna. Soon the young people got married. It is worth noting that, in addition to filming in the cinema and working on the stage, Sergei Kurilov was fond of fishing. Last years

In 1983, Sergei Kurilov announced his retirement in Soviet cinema. From that moment the artist began to devote all his spare time to painting. It was drawing with a pencil and pastel that helped the actor forget about problems with health, as well as surviving the forced parting with the business of his life.

January 11, 1987, Sergei Ivanovich Kurilov was gone. The funeral of the famous artist took place at the Khimki cemetery in the Moscow region.
