Royal Cobra in the wild
One of the most amazing and most dangerous representatives of the family of snakes is the royal cobra. The habitat is the southern tropical forests of India and Pakistan. Although recently, royal cobras are increasingly noticed near human settlements, due to massive deforestation, which has led to a reduction in the natural habitat. The length of the adult specimen averaged three meters, although cases were recorded when the specimens were 5.5 meters long.
In addition, in the life of a predator in the wild, there are many interesting facts, thanks to which he really cobra "royal".
The children of the royal cobra are only 40 centimeters long. But their behavior and the deadly poison of their parents have already been laid in their blood. After all, the royal cobra has a poison that can kill even an elephant. Although, interestingly, it regulates the amount of poison that is injected into the victim. If the female wants to drive away the alien from the nest, she can make a "bezlopastny" bite, in which she does not inject poison at all.
The royal cobra, a photo with which tourists like to make so much, is not yet fully explored, there are still a lot of mysteries in its behavior in natural habitats. After all, it is almost impossible to keep track of it, it is impossible to determine the distances to which snakes can migrate for their lives. Also, the behavior of research complicates the fact that the forests where the royal cobra dwells are cut down, and it is forced to migrate to human settlements, as a result of which its habits change. After all, a person changes nature without thinking about the consequences, but only thinks about his own profit.
