Every year, carpet paths around the world are filled with famous and distinguished figures of world cinema: directors, screenwriters, producers and, of course, actors. Plot

The film "The Dallas Club of Buyers" tells the true story of a Texas resident, Ron Woodruff. The article was based on the article of 1992, which attracted public attention. A man earns a living by working as an electrician, and his main hobby is a rodeo. He is not particularly discriminating in sexual relations, the consequences of which lead him to a hospital examination. It turns out that Ron is infected with the immunodeficiency virus, and he has only a few weeks left. In 1985, in America, they are only beginning to conduct active studies of such diseases, and not everyone can get medicine. From the test drug, which is secretly delivered to the hero from the hospital, he feels even more unwell, so he goes on a desperate step. He travels to Mexico, where the drugs banned in the US are distributed in the underground. So, they begin to actively transport them across the border and organize their own, so-called, Dallas club of buyers, in which for a membership fee patients can receive all the necessary drugs. He meets a dying transvestite named Rayon, and he becomes his irreplaceable assistant and close friend. The picture does not cover the entire period of time that was assigned to Woodruff, but at the end the audience will learn that he struggled with the illness for seven long years from the date of diagnosis.

Creators

The film "Dallas Club of Buyers" was screened by the director Jean-Marc Valle. He also independently engaged in the installation of his paintings, for which he was even awarded the Oscar nomination. As it usually happens, Vallé began his career with low-budget films, serials and short films. Ten years have passed since the start of his filmography, and, finally, he was successful after the release of the "Brothers CRAZY". This was followed by "Young Victoria" with Emily Blunt, who received an Oscar for best suits, and a touching drama "Café de Flor". But the most famous and successful of his picture to date is precisely the "Dallas club of buyers".

Preparation for shooting

Due to lack of budget, the shooting was conducted in very short time, especially for pictures of this kind. Matthew McConaughey

Once upon a time, Matthew was considered to be exclusively a star of romantic comedies. Sometimes you could even come across sarcastic jokes on his account in various TV shows, for example, in "Griffins". He could be seen in the foreground in the melodramas "Wedding Planner", "How to get rid of a guy in 10 days" and "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past." But with age, producers and directors of serious paintings began to pay attention to the changed actor, which resulted in such films as "Lincoln for the lawyer", "Mad" and "Dallas club of buyers." McConaughey has now achieved a fabulous success, moving to a completely new level for himself. It was he who played the main role in the film Valle, after which the actor was invited exclusively to the main roles. He also managed to conquer television after the release of one of the best serials of recent years, "The Real Detective", the game in which was extremely warmly received by critics and spectators.
