Psychotherapy with diets.

When a girl or woman starts to stick to a diet, wanting to get rid of a few extra pounds before the start of the beach season - this is normal. Similarly, it is quite normal to eat a diet after the holidays or before some important event, because most girls and women now lead a sedentary lifestyle, the consequence of which is certainly overweight. At the same time when choosing a diet should be based on physiologically justified norms. There are different tables with an indication of the normal relationship of height and weight, you can calculate your BMI (body mass index) in order to understand how many kilos will get rid of. There are also special formulas that are designed to calculate the necessary calorie intake, the required amount of proteins, fats and carbohydrates. A normal diet should not imply a break between meals for longer than 10 hours (during sleep). That is, all diets, which say that in order to lose weight, you do not have to eat after 6 pm, nothing good will not lead you. Normal, physiologically sound diets involve three or four meals a day, and, in every meal, there must be enough calories, proteins, fats and carbohydrates.

Weight loss on such diets is easy and natural, the body itself "helps" slimming, because such a diet is a great chance for him to get rid of all the excess, the mass that does not perform any functions, but only requires constant nutrition.

It is quite another matter when a diet becomes the meaning of life. Often, this happens to the girls. And, if you lose weight on diets begin, having excess weight, then the duration of such a diet is not limited to achieving weight, ideal for a particular girl. The result of this weight loss is often anorexia - a disease in which psychological and physiological disorders in the body do not allow a person to eat - there is no appetite, a person loses the opportunity to eat because the body ceases to perceive food as nutrients and a source of energy. Any person who goes on a diet can potentially become an anorexic.

All people have complexes and some mental abnormalities. But the majority lives with them, even without knowing about their existence - the existing deviations from the norm can only appear in certain situations, however, because during a life such situations do not arise, then the person does not know anything about the disturbances in his own psyche. Similarly, with complexes that are associated with excess weight. These complexes can either develop into deviations, or disappear, or remain at the level of the complexes. The first of the described cases is the most terrible. Initially, existing complexes about excess weight over time become a mania that makes a person lose weight. And, the process of losing weight does not depend on whether you have extra pounds or not. Often even with a physiological lack of weight, girls continue to sit on low-calorie diets, trying to lose a few extra pounds. The only thing that can help in this case is psychotherapy with diets.

Psychotherapy with diets is aimed at identifying and eradicating the very problem that caused mental disorders on the basis of weight loss. Such psychotherapy is designed to normalize the processes of thinking, the formation of healthy eating behavior, the destruction of stereotypes, formed on the basis of the desire to lose weight. It should be noted that such a disease as anorexia and, consequently, psychological disorders on the basis of the desire to lose weight, arose not so long ago. This may seem strange, because children and adolescents with excess weight were always, and always they caused disapproval and ridicule on the part of other children. And, accordingly, the complexes connected with excess weight were formed. Nevertheless, such a maniacal desire to lose weight, which would have provoked the need to use psychotherapy with diets, never occurred to anyone.

Everything has changed since the moment when "models with hanger figures" came to the podium and all the girls rushed to imitate them, sat down on low-calorie diets in an effort to have 45 kg. After growth of 1.70 m. After all, at the time when the ideal of beauty was considered Marilyn Monroe - a girl who is not far from a skinny figure - problems with anorexia and mental disorders due to the desire to lose weight was much less. After such an analysis of the reasons for the painful desire to lose weight, it becomes clear why psychotherapy with diets is most often needed by girls aged 15 to 25 years. During this period, the psyche is in a rather unstable state, therefore, it is likely that some model from the cover of a glossy magazine will make such a strong impression on the girl that it will become an example for imitation and, accordingly, will cause the most unnatural desire to lose weight.

With obsessive mania about diets, the only effective tool is psychotherapy. No beliefs from parents, attempts to forcibly force to eat, round-the-clock control, etc. Will not be able to solve the problem. For example, if you force your daughter to eat what she thinks is superfluous, she will go to the toilet and artificially cause vomiting. And this you will not be able to control anymore. In addition, if your beliefs have an effect, it will most likely be temporary. Nobody will give a guarantee that your child will wait until you "relax" and take over the old. By the way, there are not so few films, the heroines of which show by their own examples how to deceive their relatives, so as not to arouse suspicions that they do not eat anything at all, sit on diets, and starve their bodies.
