Peyring: what is it, where it meets and what happens

In the youth subculture, there are significant films that generate generations of dedicated fans. To fans of sensational blockbusters it's not enough to just watch and revise your favorite movies - sooner or later they start creating their own works based on famous stories. Sometimes these are video clips, "glued" from the best scenes of the film, sometimes - drawings and collages depicting the characters you like, often in atypical situations for these characters. However, most fans write amateur literary stories - and sometimes whole novels, not inferior in terms of volume and complexity of the plot to "serious" books. What are we talking about in such works? What does fan slang mean: Harmony, rating, peyring? What is a crossover and Dramiah?

"Harry Potter"

It is interesting that throughout the history of the existence of amateur literary works on the basis of kinosjuzhets it is the stories about the Boy-Who-Lived that holds the undoubted record for the volume and number of fanfics. It would seem that the world of muggles and wizards, created by Joan Rowling, does not leave much room for imagination: the main events of books and films unfold within the walls of the school for young magicians, and the rest of the locations are extremely few and poorly described. Nevertheless, fans confidently take up the pen and add additional situations to their beloved world, as if "forgotten" by the author, rewrite the fate of the characters and populate Hogwarts with heroes of their own writings (often written off from themselves or friends).

Love Stories

In the world of Harry Potter fans, the word "peyring" is most often encountered. What is peyring and how does it affect the storyline? This is literally a "couple", or the designation of the relationship of certain characters, led by the fantasy author's fantasy. Romantic lines in amateur works very rarely follow the trails laid by Rowling: very few people like that Hermione marries Ron, and Harry - marries Ginny. Instead, the fans come up with situations in which the most unexpected heroes come together: Lucius falls in love with Lucius Malfoy or the Dark Lord himself, and Harry Potter decides to associate his life with Pensi Parkinson, a student at the Slytherin faculty. One can even guess what is called peyring, in which romance blossoms between Hermione and Draco. This is "Dramaion". Interestingly, the fanfiction about the love between Granger and her best friend Harry is commonly called "Harmony."

Anime

The interest of young people (and the representatives of older generations) to Japanese pop culture is not weakening. Fanfics are created based on the motivations and serials, and full-length anime. However, many pictures leave not the strongest impressions after viewing, and therefore they practically do not write their own stories. Among the animees deprived of attention are Blooming Youth, Hopeless Love, Blues of the Dark Side, Lost Universe, Sol Bianca, Gilgamesh, Bugipop Phantom and Strawberry Marshmallow. But the list of drawing worlds on which the amazing stories are written, write and write amazing stories: "Naruto", "Bleach", "Wanpis", "Rogue Kenshin", "Detective Conan", "Prince of Tennis", "Devourer of Souls", " "King Shaman", "Evangelion", "White Cross", "Gravitation", "Code Geass." And this is not all. It's enough just to look at the obvious figures of statistics: in the fanfiction archive Fanfiction.net alone, 387 thousand fanficas were collected on Naruto, 115 thousand - on Inuyasha, 113 thousand on Hetalia, 81 thousand on Blic, .

Of course, not all fans of anime write - many just read other people's fanfics. Peying "Sakura / Sasuke", for example, is preferred by romantic people, and stories about the relationship between Gaara and Hinata or between the members of the "Akatsuki" organization are those who like drama and passion.

"Game of Thrones"

The universe of brutal fantasy created by George Martin has won the hearts of thousands and millions of viewers around the world. It would seem that in this world the concept of "peying" is inappropriate: what is the fantasy of a naive fan in comparison with the scale of events described by the author? But no, the fans are actively encroaching on the feelings of other people's characters, adding color to the forbidden relationship of the Lannisters and the power of imagination, reducing the last of the kind of Targarien, not with anyone, but with the gloomy John Snow. Curiously, how would the writer himself look at such a peyring?

What is a crossover? This is literally a mixture of two fictional universes. Interesting fact: if in the fanfic "Game of Thrones" is combined with "Avengers", you can safely wait for the "Dayeneris / Loki" peying.

Real people

The life of celebrities is always in sight, and any personal events instantly become public. It went so far that the authors of the fanfics began to write stories based on the life of real people - favorite (or vice versa, hated) singers, actors and public figures. Sportsmen did not become an exception. Real names and genuine (and sometimes fictitious) relationships turn into concepts of "characters and peying", figure skating and synchronized swimming become "fanonom", and especially frank scenes are hidden under the warning: "High rating!".

On the one hand, it seems that real people should not become the object of strange alien fantasies. On the other hand, this is one of the shortcomings of life "in public": the real person in the eyes of the fans almost does not differ from the invented character of the film.
