Partizan (Zheleznyakov Valery): biography, strategy in roulette

Valery Lvovich Zheleznyakov, also known as Partizan, is one of the best professional players in card games in Russia. About his manner of playing legends, he is known not only in our country, but also far beyond its borders. Valery Zheleznyakov is a doctor of physical and mathematical sciences and a professor at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. His whole life he devoted to the study of game theory and probability theory.

General biography

Partizan (Zheleznyakov) was born on August 23, 1941 in the city of Gorky. There is no reliable information about which family the future card pro was born in, and from this we can draw a simple conclusion: a man, like his whole family, has never shone anywhere, that is, he was an ordinary average child in his childhood and as usual in Student years boy. But where did this glory come from? How did he so easily get into the arena of celebrity, and, most importantly, did he want it? Judging is possible only on the few facts that could be found. And one of them: this unusual nickname Zheleznyakov received thanks to a song called "Sailor-Partisan Zheleznyak." Apparently, the surname of Valery Lvovich and the one that is in the song are similar. Hence the player took a pseudonym.

early years

Like any other person, Valery Zheleznyakov (Partizan) studied at the university. And not in any institution, but in the already respected at that time MSU. Possessing outstanding abilities in the field of arithmetic, mathematics and mathematical analysis, the guy entered the physics and mathematics faculty. There he almost studiously studied and was the soul of a student company, who often liked to play cards and speculate on the topic of a difficult student's share. But, surprisingly, in those years, Zheleznyakov had not yet played cards: his first passion was chess, which, quite possibly, helped him create in himself a multi-point-thinking person with an acute mind and able to analyze any situation well. So he would be a champion in a chess tournament from his university, but only fate, as always, ordered otherwise ...

Crucial moment

History seems so understandable, so simple at first glance that one simply does not believe: one decree managed to change the life of not only one person, but, perhaps, hundreds of other people.

Being in the first year of his university, Valery Zheleznyakov has found the most large-scale check of student hostels in the last few years. On the eve of that day a big jar of jam jam was sent to him from the house, and it was on that day that an eternally hungry student was urged to open it ... Just do not leave it openly under the bed, although in any other place the society of hungry, like wolves, Would leave a trace of jam.

When the commission entered the room, Zheleznyakov only managed to put the jar under the bed as usual, but only who expected that they would try to extract the mop - and in the most brazen way. The head of the commission, assistant professor Sinkov, of course, fell into the zone of defeat: his new shiny shoes were completely smeared with cherry, sugary sweet syrup. The associate instructed to evict the guy from the hostel, and it was from this moment that his adventures begin in the world of figures, card shirts and failure of large sums of money ...

The first steps in the world of excitement

No, do not think that eviction from the hostel means the complete exclusion of Zheleznyakov as a student from the university - he was simply transferred to another building, to another building. And here the future player saw a completely different world - a world of entertainment. The students of this building were real lovers of playing cards, so it was absolutely not a burden for them to teach the game of the newcomer to Valera, so that his participation made the con more interesting.

Two weeks after that, Zheleznyakov was already a champion in card games among students of his own university, and after a while, just a year later, he became famous for his game in all of Moscow.

Advantages of a card "guru"

Few people who know this person personally know why it is Partizan that gets the laurels of the winner and admired reviews. Zheleznyakov Valery Lvovich was a very smart man, and in the broadest sense of the word. He did not just have deep knowledge in almost all areas of mathematics (especially in probability theory and everything related to it), he was a terrific practitioner who, with skilful acuity, used in his life seemingly understandable only to him one count.

And what secrets could Partisan have hidden? Zheleznyakov, frankly speaking, did not hide anything from anyone, people saw everything themselves. He was perceptive, had a phenomenal memory, and in his mind could perform arithmetic operations with incredibly large numbers. Not a drop of cheating, this man managed to play at different rates, from 10 to 1000. And losing less, he always stayed with a big one in his pocket. It was for this after several years of successful activity that he was no longer allowed to enter major casinos not only in our country, but also in the world. Such people, who were powerful analysts and shrewd theorists, were very disliked by firms that earned on human excitement. Roulette, "one-armed bandit", even a simple lottery, which could not have been predicted at all (and this was not taking into account card games) - all this, thanks to the care, accuracy, sharpness of Zheleznyakov's mind always brought him a big jackpot.

Counters in the game world

Since we are talking about how gambling establishments relate to such unique people who are able not only to lose their money, but to do it with profit for themselves, it is worthwhile to delve into this topic.

Zheleznyakov Valery Lvovich - a mathematician, as already mentioned - never felt the desire to rob not that a person, but even the institution itself before the thread. He could calculate in advance a bunch of combinations that promised him a positive outcome. It was for this feature that he, like other similar geniuses, was called the "counter" - the one who really cleverly calculated all the moves, despite the actions of the roulette or the croupier.

Black cards

Counters not only did not like, they were also forbidden to play. Regarding everything - from the card "Fool" and to Black Jack - casino owners understood that in any case they would incur losses. Especially for such dangerous players in the game world, some "black cards" were introduced - a pledge of saving the casino funds, because thanks to such cards of people whose names were written on them and not allowed for a few meters to the playing table.

Zheleznyakov was given more than 20 black cards in different casinos around the world.

Tournament in the "Fool"

In 1997, to be more specific, on December 3, there was a competition that turned the life of a man upside down. He was challenged. And not someone there, but a real multiple champion in the game of the "Fool" - Albert Minnullin. All the action was to take place on the territory of the Cosmo hotel, and all the expenses, as well as the money prize, were decidedly taken up by the organizers of the event. And for the prize was worth fighting - the hotel owners offered as a reward $ 25 000 to the one who will win the tournament. Played until the moment when one of the participants will not have 15 wins. There was a fierce confrontation, and the very last game Zheleznyakov had to play on fully watched maps (the influence and friendship of Minnullin played a role). But even this did not prevent him from snatching the victory and becoming the champion of the game in the Foolie in 1997-1998.

Bypassing the poker side

Being a strong player in all card games, Zheleznyakov did not only pay ... poker. Perhaps, the question will come to mind: why? But even in this regard, Partizan can show his opinion. Zheleznyakov argued that in order to play poker, you do not need to be super-smart, you do not have to shuffle many combinations in your head. Like any person with mathematical inclinations, Zheleznyakova displayed inadequate winnings, his incomprehensible layout. Before old Valery Zheleznyakov repeated that in order to beat even very strong players in poker, you can be a novice in the card game, because this game is not tied to strategy and guessing intentions, but to luck. Yes, it's so simple, and that's why the theory that almost everything can be explained in the world is failing. The man believes that gambling is not meaningless at all - they must be such that you really have something to think about to "stir" your mind. The same strategy Valery Zheleznyakov in roulette - where it would seem impossible to predict events, he does it.

Ludomania: a disease or ..?

Too much controversy, not only in the gambling world, but also in the usual goes about whether gambling (lodomania in another way) is a real illness requiring some kind of treatment or even taking medication. Zheleznyakov Valery Lvovich, whose biography abounds with games in the most diverse "realms of excitement", has his own opinion on this matter.

He has always believed that gambling is not a disease at all, but rather a failure to observe inner moral standards, when there is an opportunity to stop, but it will never be used. The irresponsibility of people, their frivolity about their own future - that's what actually leads people into institutions of a gambling nature.

Online casinos and their needs

If we talk about gambling, then do not forget that people wanting to satisfy the thirst for excitement may not even leave the house. For such lazy and at the same time "inveterate" players and there are special Internet platforms, which are called online casinos. However, in the opinion of Zheleznyakov, at the peak of its popularity such types of money laundering will not last long. Internet casinos are places not only for lazy, but also for those who do not respect themselves. There is a great difference: to play in a professional casino, decently dressed and with a slight smile on your lips, at the look of ingratiating waiters and lovely waitresses, or playing at home. Of course, in a home form, half-dressed and with not so hot hair on his head. A professional will definitely go himself to a gambling establishment.

Cooperation with television

And here is an even more interesting fact from the biography of someone who calls himself nothing but Partisan. Zheleznyakov participated in a couple of times in the sharp scenes for television broadcasts. One of his most vivid performances is the release as an opponent in the project "Good Morning", where they decided to shoot a story about the game-dependent. Of course, Zheleznyakov tried, as best he could, to bring to the people at least a fraction of the truth about the fact that excitement is not a disease that must be treated, but a matter that delays and from which it is then difficult to get out.

Unfortunately, only a few phrases of the very "guru" of card skill got into the air, and most of all, phrases of opponent Zheleznyakov, who was an ardent fighter for HLS, were inserted. In frustrated feelings Valery left the shooting. And yet after a while he was again invited to the program with Andrei Malakhov, which he did not get due to the tight schedule of game parts in other countries of the world.

Relation to psychics

Another amazing fact from the biography of Zheleznyakov. We are talking about his complete skepticism about such a science as extrasensory medicine. Of course, it is difficult to understand that everything that happens to you is not dreaming, but quite realistic, that's just lovers of clear answers to questions that irritates even more than rounding up the number "Pi" to 3.

Once, Zheleznyakov even entered into a dispute with one of the psychics to get him to clean water. Nobody knows the outcome of the bet, it was clear one thing: both hated each other even more, plus Partizan was ready to part with life if he lost. Whether it was serious or not is unknown ...

last years of life

Until now, healthy, like an ox, Valery Zheleznyakov by 2010 noticed a deterioration in well-being. The man started having heart problems, but he still loved traveling around the new casinos: some played himself, in others he looked at the game without taking part in it. In any case, the hero of our narrative did not part with the casino until his death. Valery Lvovich Zheleznyakov died in 2015, on September 6.

The world will forever remember a man who completely broke the stereotypes that players in the casino are total deceivers.
