Pale skin, its causes and possible consequences

Usually the tone of the skin of a person is determined by its genetics, and therefore the pallor of the skin does not always indicate a disease or malaise. It can be a feature of the body (when due to the density of the skin the vessels are not translucent, because it seems particularly pale), the result of insufficient exposure to fresh air or low ambient temperature around, physical or psychological stress.

Moreover, for many centuries the pale skin was considered not just beautiful. It was an inalienable sign of a person from a high society, rich enough, educated and prosperous.

The lower classes, on the contrary, could boast of sunburn, due to the fact that they were forced to survive due to exhausting work in the air.

However, much more often the pallor of the skin can be one of the signs of malaise, pathological changes in the body. Other symptoms, such as weakness, increased sweating, discoloration of the nails and lips, blanching of the mucous membranes, also join.

The reasons for such changes can be several. As a rule, objective factors are associated with natural processes for the aging body, but subjective ones vary depending on the diseases, genetics and lifestyle of each particular individual. And then the treatment of skin diseases requires a special approach.

So, the most important reason for this phenomenon is age. Over the years, the veils lose moisture, the body produces less collagen, due to a decrease in the activity of the cardiovascular system, the nutrition of the tissues deteriorates, and as a result, the skin becomes drier, vulnerable, and pale. This is an objective reason, it is difficult to do anything here.

But there can be quite a lot of subjective reasons. Paling skin can cause, firstly, a lifestyle, that is, improper nutrition, lack of sleep and stress. All this leads to early aging. And if the contribution is made also by bad ecology, the consequences come even faster. Secondly, the pale shade of the covers can be caused by anemia, that is, lack of iron in the blood, or vegetovascular dystonia, which always goes hand in hand with low pressure and its frequent changes, headache, heart rhythm disturbance, dizziness and other unpleasant symptoms. Too light tone of the skin, closer to the yellowish one, causes diseases of the excretory system, for example, kidneys, or malaise of the heart.

Third, the unusual pallor can be a consequence of such a terrible disease as leukemia, and is one of her first symptoms. In this case, the pallor of the skin is accompanied by small bruises, rancid mucous, weakness, lethargy and drowsiness. The temperature may rise. All this is not harmless. The main thing is not to miss symptoms, get help from a doctor.

Thus, skin color can be determined by various factors, both harmless and pathogenic. If pallor is accompanied by relatively good health, does not cause anxiety and inconvenience, then there is no reason for alarms.

Hence, such pallor is just a natural physiological state for this particular person.

But if it developed suddenly, and to too light skin integument is added weakness, fatigue, a feeling of lack of air, rapid heartbeat, then you should immediately show yourself to the doctor. And then treatment of skin diseases will be easier and will not be accompanied by any neglected processes.
