1. Reduce the amount of sugar, it can be replaced with honey. Just do not rinse the sugar substitute. Dough does not like it when they try to cheat. Calculating about one part of honey to two parts of oatmeal. You can make a quarter of a glass of honey and a half glass of cane (or other more useful) sugar.

2. Add nuts and dried fruits, to your taste. You can add a little (50 grams) of dark chocolate, grated or finely chopped.

3. If you are trying to experiment, then try instead of butter or margarine with sugar, add pulp of pumpkin or apple. It turns out a rather original taste. Flesh needs about a glass, you can slightly less. And do not forget to add a couple of egg whites.

Variations of additives in oatmeal cookies, the recipe of which is easy to find both on the Internet and in culinary books, amaze me with their diversity. Depending on the taste you want, you can use fruits (apples, pears, bananas), dried fruits (dried apricots, prunes), nuts (peanuts, cashews, walnuts), sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds. And you can add cinnamon, vanilla or even cloves.

Oatmeal cookies, the recipe of which includes eggs, I did not bring. They can be added to butter or fruit pulp for whipping. Then the dough turns out to be more fluffy.
