About this great artist from Holland, probably everyone heard. The painter was born in the family of a pastor, in a small village of Groth-Zundert, in 1853. Until 1879, Vincent Van Gogh worked as a teacher, served as a commission agent, was a preacher.
He turned to art only in 1880. His first works were depictions of destitute workers, peasants, fishermen and artisans. In 1885, Van Gogh created such paintings as "Potato Eaters" and "Peasant Woman".
Two years later, inspired by the work of E. Bernard, L. Anquette, the painter creates a painting "Bridge across the Seine." In 1888 the canvas "Bedroom in Arles" was created. In recent years, before the death of the works were distinguished by a heavy and gloomy mood, for example, the picture "At the Gates of Eternity". In 1890, on July 29, the artist committed suicide.

Also at the exit from the exhibition hall they equipped a workshop, where everyone could try himself in painting under the guidance of masters. For the girls, the organizers arranged places for photography.
