Mukaltin: a method of application for adults and children

The way of application and dosage depends not only on age, but also on the stage of the disease.

Mucous membranes during the use of this remedy are covered with a thin layer of plant mucus that persists on the surface for a long time and protects it from irritation. Inflammatory process decreases, and independent tissue regeneration is greatly facilitated.

When treating stomach diseases, the effectiveness of treatment directly depends on the acidity of the gastric juice. The higher it is, the more effective and lasting the protective effect of the mucous membrane. This is due to the fact that the viscosity of plant mucus increases when it interacts with hydrochloric acid.

How to take Mukaltin to children? First of all, it depends on the age of the child. Children younger than one year of this drug should not be given. A single dose is one to two tablets at a time and depends on the readings. Take this remedy before meals three to four times a day. This applies to children over the age of twelve. Do not take drugs containing codeine (neither children, nor adults) at the same time as the medicine, because this can lead to an increase in the amount of sputum, which will be significantly more difficult to remove. But you can use this tool together with other drugs used to treat respiratory diseases.

In pregnancy, you can use the drug "Mukaltin", the method of application does not differ from that indicated in the instructions. But still need to see the doctor and listen to the lungs. But when lactation experts do not recommend using this drug, although it is of vegetable origin.

The instruction allows the use of "Mukaltin" when breastfeeding. If there is a need for the use of this drug, then during the treatment it is better to switch to breastfeeding.
