Magic - Fiction Or Reality?

Formation of the term and concept of magic as such traditionally refers to the era of Zoroastrianism, the priests of which in the original tradition were called magi (magi), as evidenced by biblical references to the Chaldeans and the negative context with which the biblical texts use the word magic, magician, E. The biblical attitude to the Chaldean and Zoroastrian priests and their faith for many hundreds of years has given the word "magic" and "magus" a negative and even abusive meaning. These priests, in addition to sending various cultic rituals, were engaged in fortune-telling and predicting the future. Despite the story of the sorcerers who came to worship Jesus in the star, in the Old Testament and New Testament texts the word magic always means a sinful ritual that is against the will of the Lord, and magicians are wizards and sorcerers, whose fate is "death." Over the course of the Middle Ages, the Christian Church was most vigorously pursuing magic, betraying it on suspicion of "anathema" and sending everyone who fell into the category of magicians and sorcerers. However, over time, the situation changed somewhat, the power of the church weakened, people's interest in the theme of magic increased. The period from the late 18th century to the mid-20th century AD. With the flowering of the natural sciences, a whole galaxy of outstanding mystics, such as Cagliostro, Papus, Crowley, Eliphas Levi, Castaneda, and many others, who still cause an ambiguous attitude with the adventurism of their destiny, the boldness and naivety of theoretical concepts, have carried on their crest. All this influenced the current understanding of magic in the context of modern understanding of the world. In modern magic, traditionally includes such sections as spellcasting, clairvoyance through divination or astrology, communication with the otherworld, the impact of ritual or thought on material or on subtle material beings. However, this attribute descriptive understanding was not far removed from primitive magic, where it was the result of archaic beliefs built on the lack of knowledge, and not on their availability. In the modern world, we observe two large categories of magicians, some of which, being true to the archaic traditions of orthodox magic, Perform ritual actions, other "magicians" have turned magic into a kind of universal means of success, influence and wealth, built on the art of forming thought forms and affirmations. Some of the researchers of this issue completely deny the existence of magic, while others, on the contrary, unconditionally believe in ritual and verbal magic, without much thought about what it is. However, there is reason to believe that truth, as always, does not lie on the surface. After all, in the picture of the world of man everything is real, which is real for him personally. What is quite possible to assume that at the heart of any magical action is a thought, formulated in accordance with the magic law, expressed in word and (or) ritual, having a goal (objectives) to achieve this goal. Approaching the understanding of magic in this vein, it is obvious to become aware that any active directional action of a person based on creative thought, which subsequently materializes, is the real magic.
