"Lube": composition of the band, history, albums

Times go - the tastes of people change. Many musical collectives disappear and leave the scene precisely because their popularity is always fading. The group, which appeared in Soviet times and is popular nowadays, is "Lube". Her star continues to burn brightly on the horizon. In this article we will tell you everything about the team: the history of its creation and the repertoire of "Lube". The composition of the group will also be indicated. But first things first.

History of creation

The idea to create the group belongs to Igor Matvienko, now a well-known music producer and composer. Between 1987 and 1989, He wrote the lyrics for the first album. They are based on the poems of famous poets Alexander Shaganov (worked with the group "Black Coffee") and Mikhail Andreev (wrote compositions for the "Class" and "Forum"). For a long time could not find a suitable candidate for the role of a soloist. Initially, they considered the possibility of inviting Sergei Mazaev. However, soon Nikolai Rastorguev drew the attention of Matvienko. Igor met him for a long time. Rastorguev was a member of the ensemble "Leisya, song", whose leader was Matvienko.

Group name

Regarding the appearance of the name of the group, there are several opinions:

  1. The idea belongs to Nikolai Rastorguev, since he himself comes from the Lyubertsy near Moscow. The name was formed from the first four letters of the name of the city. By the way, the word "lyube" in Ukrainian slang means "different". Therefore, the name of the group can be interpreted in different ways.
  2. The name can also be associated with the popular at that time youth movement of lyuberov. Its representatives were engaged in promoting a healthy lifestyle and playing sports. Some of their ideas are reflected in the early work of the musical group.

The first musical compositions and composition of the group

In January 1989, recorded recording debut compositions: "Lyubertsy" and "Father Makhno." It was attended by: Nikolai Rastorguev, Alexei Gorbashov (formerly a guitarist of the Mirage group), Viktor Zastrov (a native of Lyubertsy near Moscow who worked as a musician in a local restaurant), Igor Matvienko. But that is not all. Anatoly Kuleshov and Alexey Tarasov were invited to record the choir. A little later, there are other compositions: "Dusya-aggregate", "Atas", "Do not ruin, men."

The composition of the group "Lube" originally included, in addition to the soloist, Rinat Bakhteev (drums) and Alexander Davydov (keyboards). Other musicians were invited. For example, Vyacheslav Tereshonok is the guitarist of "Lube". Matvienko wanted him to have a quintet. Therefore, the role of the fifth participant was acquired by Alexander Nikolayev - bass player of the band "Lube". However, soon there is a change of team members. In the spring of 1989 he went on tour "Lube". The composition of the group is further modified. They are joined by a new member. This is Oleg Katsura (formerly the soloist of the band "Klass"). The team travels with concerts Zheleznovodsk and Pyatigorsk. However, this does not bring success to them. The public still does not accept artists.

In the winter of the same year, "Lube" (the composition of the group remains unchanged) invited to participate in the "Christmas Meetings" prima donna of the national stage. At this event, there was an acquaintance of Nikolai Rastorguev and Alla Pugacheva, who gave the soloist a good advice - to wear elements of military uniform for the song "Atas". Gymnast, trousers-riding breeches and high boots - this is the image that was remembered by many. Some took him for a retired military man, so naturally Rastorguev looked in military uniform. However, the view was erroneous. After all, the soloist did not even serve in the army. After this performance, this element of the wardrobe will become an invariable part of Nikolai Rastorguev's scenic image.

The band's first album

In 1990, the music album "We Will Live Now in a New Way" is released. He was released amateurly, on tape. Over time, he will enter the discography of the group. The band members record the record in the center of Igor Matvienko, which opens in 1990. In the same year, there is another change in the composition of the musical collective. Of the "old" participants are only Alexander Nikolaev, Vyacheslav Tereshonok and Oleg Katsura. There is a new keyboard player - Vitaly Loktev. The guitar is now played by Alexander Weinberg, and on the drums - Yuri Ryarikh. Another guitarist becomes Victor Zhuk.

This year has become successful for "Lube". They begin to perform on the stage. They are invited to television, radio. Albums are sold all over Russia. The collective receives an invitation to participate in such popular television programs as "What, where, when," "Christmas meetings." In the winter of the same year, they perform at the closing of the annual music contest "Song of the Year" with the already popular song "Atas" and become the laureate of the contest.

In 1991, the band left the guitarist Viktor Zhuk. This year the guys release the first record. However, due to technical possibilities, she could not accommodate all 14 songs. Therefore soon there is an audiocassette with a supplement. The album cover was unusually decorated - she portrayed the group as a military detachment, who was riding a tank with a machine gun. Thus, the artist tried to illustrate the main hit of the album - the song "Father Makhno". At the same time, the band does not leave a tour and is actively recording new compositions at the studio.

In March of the same year in the Olympic there is a concert called "All power - Lube!". The band performs not only with old compositions known to the spectator (for example, "Atas", "Lyubertsy" and others), but also performs new songs. There is also a video version of the concert.

Release of the album "Do not fool around, America"

The second album is released in the atmosphere of prosperity of "pirated" copies of audio and video products. Several of the band's first compositions were stolen and distributed on the black market. In order to somehow reduce losses, the producer decides to release an official version, which included the entire repertoire. It was rumored that Matvienko, with the aim of increasing the popularity of the band, was especially interested in the album "pirates "Several new songs.

First clip

The first video the band decides to shoot for the song "Do not fool around, America." The shooting took place in Sochi. The peculiarity of the clip is the use of computer technologies to create animation elements. Above the video worked: Sergei Bazhenov (graphics, animation), Dmitry Venikov (artist), Kirill Kruglyansky (director). The filming took quite a long time, precisely because of their computerization. In the light of the work came out only in 1992.

Two years later, Artemy Troitsky (a well-known music commentator) sends a video without the consent of the band's musicians and their producer to participate in the international festival in Cannes. At this competition, the work receives a prize for the humor and quality of the video. In the team itself again changes composition. As a result of the announcement, new members appear in the newspaper about the recruitment of the choir members: Evgeny Nasibulin and Oleg Zenin. They become backing vocalists. Yuri Ripyah leaves the group. He decides to start his project and start promoting the beginning star - Alena Sviridova. Soon leaves the team and Alexander Nikolaev - bass guitarist. He is forced to make this step family circumstances. There is another new participant - the drummer "Lube" Alexander Erokhin. Before that he worked in the group "Walk the Field".

The album "Who said that we lived badly?"

In 1991, the magnetic album "Lube" was released, in which not all the songs were presented. And next year the band presents the official version of the record, which includes all the tracks. Even greater love of viewers was acquired by Lube. Songs that have become the most popular: "Let's fuck", "Do not fool around, America" and others. Work on the release of the album entitled "Who said that we lived badly?" Was held for two years. At this time the team decides to leave Alexander Weinberg - guitarist. He together with the former back-vocalist of the collective Oleg Zenin organize the group "Our business". In the beginning of 1992, "Lube" begins work on recording new songs with a new quality and other themes.

Filming

After the recording of the songs, the shooting of clips begins for some tracks. At the same time the idea of creating a feature film with musical episodes of the compositions of the "Lube" group comes along. The composition of the group participates in the filming. Dmitry Zolotukhin becomes the director of the picture. Filming begins in 1993 in several studios. The main role is played by actress Marina Leutova. Also participating in the filming took some other famous actors of the theater and cinema. The basis for the script were the stories of the songs.

The painting was called uncomplicated - "Zone of Lube". The plot is simple. The main action takes place in the detention area, where the young journalist (actress Marina Leutova) comes to interview the convicted people. Each story is a new song of the band. Despite the fact that the action of the film takes place in the detention zone, the criminal shade of the film is not significant. "Zone Lube" with its drama, depth and new themes has become a new format in the music world.

The songs began to differ from previously released albums. The most prominent is the composition "Horse". It is written without a musical accompaniment, with the participation of the choir. It is this song that will become very popular and loved by fans and spectators. Later the clip on the composition will be included in the official video collection (1994). In this year the disc "Zone of Lube" is recognized as the best among domestic competitors and receives the prize "Bronze top". High marks of criticism, connoisseurs and competitors put the design of the album itself, the cover of which illustrated scenes from the film.

In 1993 the permanent guitarist and member of the band Vyacheslav Tereshonok died unexpectedly. In his place comes Sergei Pereguda. "Lube" stopped at him their choice due to the fact that he was known in the music sphere. In addition, he had a great work experience. Earlier, Pereguda was a member of the group Evgeny Belousov, worked in Integral, "Merry Fellows".

The famous "Combat"

The text of the now popular song was written a long time ago. He lay there waiting for his time two years. The author of the poems was Alexander Shaganov, music - Igor Matvienko. In May 1995 the song was recorded. The event was timed to the celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of the Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War. The song was first performed in the capital at a concert in honor of the holiday. The clip was intended to be removed in military subjects. Several scenes of exercises and exercises by paratroopers had already been worked out, but time was running out and it was not possible to prepare everything by the set deadline. The song "Combat" was recognized as the best in 1995.

Album "Combat"

After the release of the famous song, the band starts working on the release of the new album. His first compositions were heard during the New Year holidays. A little later some more new songs are released. The album itself appears on sale in May 1996. A special feature of the band's music is the use of folk instruments at the same time as the sound of electric guitars, the inclusion of rock elements. To record some songs, an ensemble of folk instruments was invited, as well as a bayanist. Two compositions are recorded in a duet: with Lyudmila Zykina ("Talk to Me") and Rolan Bykov ("Two Companions Served").

Initially, there were two versions of the new album: for audio cassettes and for a disc. For the first version, the order of sounding of the songs was changed, and also the composition "Eaglet-2" was missing. The design of the album was sustained in military themes. Against the background of the form of fighters, a red star is depicted. Since that time "Lube" performs exclusively live, which was a rarity for the musicians of that time. This fact does not remain unnoticed by the audience, whose love and gratitude the group won more and more, and not critics. The first song of the album consistently occupied the main places of the charts. The collection itself received the award as the best in 1996.

Album "Four nights in Moscow"

For a long time Nikolay Rastorguev dreamed of recording a solo album with the songs of the Beatles group. In 1996, he decided to implement it. The album comes out in limited edition. The recording was attended by musicians of the collective, as well as Igor Matvienko. Rastorguev became the producer of the album. In the summer of 1996, as a result of a car accident, Aleksandr Nikolaev (the bass player of the "Lube" group) perishes. It is necessary to urgently search for a new participant. In place of Paul Usanov comes. "Lube" again changes its composition.

Work on the collection "Songs about people" was held in numerous studios: "Mosfilm", "Lyube", "Ostankino", "PC Matvienko." The album is designed in an unusual manner for the group.
