Approximately until the 32nd week, the chances of change are not so small, because the child still has enough room to turn over, but later it is unlikely that this will happen. Before this critical period, the future mother can do special exercises, which, as the gynecologists consider, help the child to take the right position.

There are 2 more kinds of positions - gluteal and mixed. Caesarean section with pelvic presentation of these species is not always shown, but if the doctors suggest surgery, it is better to agree. And there are two reasons for this: first, quite often in such cases, the umbilical cord can be clamped between the child's head and the birth canal, which can cause hypoxia. In addition, if the baby is thrown back, during the delivery, he may get a spinal injury.

That is why caesarean section with pelvic presentation is the best way out. It is not necessary to be afraid of this - the operation is rather quick, and, as a rule, the woman in labor is conscious. General anesthesia with caesarean section is used quite rarely, epidural and spinal anesthesia, or a combination thereof, are often treated.

Of course, some women are rather uncomfortable with the fact that the birth will not be natural, but with the help of doctors, but it's better to think about your health and the state of the baby. A planned operation is always better than an emergency one. Doctors have the opportunity to discuss everything a few more times and make a weighty decision about whether a cesarean section is needed. At what date is it planned? Usually this is the 37-38th week, as it is better not to bring to the beginning of the bouts, so that the operation does not become urgent.
