Infusion in adults - types and methods of treatment

Sweating is a skin disease that manifests itself in the form of small bubbles filled with a clear or slightly cloudy liquid, resulting from a violation of the functions of the sweat glands. It is generally believed that the disease is typical only for young children or infants, as well as for obese people. But this is not so. The main cause of sweating in newborns is the immaturity of their sweat glands and the friction of skin folds, for example, on the neck, the bends of the elbows, on the back, buttocks, and in the groin.

Infusion in adults can be caused by a variety of causes. The main cause of its appearance is hyperhidrosis - increased activity of sweat glands, which appears as a protective reaction of the body to overheating or physical overstrain. The increase in sweating can also be affected by the age factor, cardiovascular diseases, disorders in the work of the nervous and endocrine systems. The effectiveness of combating this problem will depend on an accurate explanation of the causes of its occurrence.

Depending on the type of rash, there are several types of sweating:

  • Crystalline;
  • Red;
  • Papular (deep).

Crystalline sweating in adults appears with feverish diseases with profuse sweating. On the skin are formed densely located small bubbles (from 1 to 2 mm) with a clear liquid. Vesicles, as a rule, are painless and pass in a few hours.

Red sweating appears as a result of skin irritation under the influence of abundant sweat, protruding with excessive wrapping, heavy physical work or fever. Characteristic symptoms with red color: bright red rashes, usually on the sides, in the armpits, at the elbow bend (on the inside), in the groin. In neglected form, sweating disease can form wound rashes. In this case, serious treatment of the disease is required.

Papular form of sweating can appear in people who could not adapt in a hot tropical climate (when moving to another country, for example). The body of such people responds to heat and increased humidity with papular rashes. Along with the papules appear and blisters. Such sweating in adults is usually chronic and can last for months and even years. Papular sweats require urgent complex treatment and rehabilitation therapy.

Chill or allergy? This question arises in many patients, and not in vain: the symptoms of any form of sweating are very similar to the symptoms of allergy and other skin diseases. The exact diagnosis can be established only by a dermatologist who, in unclear situations, will prescribe additional examinations designed to exclude other diseases with similar symptoms.

Pill in adults causes a feeling of psychological and physical discomfort. In addition to a pronounced cosmetic defect (redness and rash), it can cause itching and is accompanied by an unpleasant odor.

To reduce perspiration, daily refreshing baths with the addition of manganese ( potassium permanganate solution) to a pale pink color, use of infusion from chamomile flowers, a decoction of a three-leafed cake are useful. After water procedures, it is desirable to powder the areas prone to sweating with a powder consisting of zinc oxide and talc. You can wipe the sweating zone with a solution of formalin or 2% salicylic acid solution.

To reduce the itching and irritation of the skin, prescribe ointments with betamethasone, camphor and menthol, as well as antihistamines such as suprastin, tavegil, dimedrol.

It is preferable to wear loose and comfortable linen or cotton clothes instead of synthetic and cramped.

To solve the problem of increased sweating of feet, palms, axillary zone and even back, injections of botulinum toxin A (Botox) will help. The drug, blocking the work of most sweat glands, stops sweating. A persistent effect may persist for 6 to 8 months, after which repeated injections will be required.
