How many hours a year do we sleep?

About the same amount of time slept Newton, who preferred to "save" on a dream, believing that it was a waste of time. Leonardo da Vinci rested even less, about a couple of hours. This did not prevent many of the celebrities from living a long and fulfilling life.

Ten years ago, scientists from America conducted an experiment in which people from thirty to one hundred years old took part. There were more than 1 million volunteers. According to this experiment, those who slept the usual for many 8 hours or more, or people who slept 4 hours or less, died more often than those whose sleep averaged 6 or 7 hours a day.

Efficiency of "night" rest

It turns out how many hours a year we sleep, does not depend on the genius or "stupidity" of a person. The whole point is how we sleep, that is, as our night rest. Productivity of human sleep depends on 2 important nuances:
