In Gudauta district near the village of Mgudzirkhva there is a recreation center called "Gold Coast" (Abkhazia). It is located just 100 meters from the beach, surrounded by a beautiful tropical park. The health resort was opened in 1988, and still for many tourists it is, perhaps, one of the favorite places for recreation.

Description

The guest house is located in the village of Gold Coast, 55 km from the border, near the Psou River. The last restoration of the complex was carried out in 2006. The recreation center is located in one of the ecologically clean regions of the country next to a park in which exotic plants and trees grow. A number of health programs and activities are carried out in the sanatorium. Zdravnitsa "Gold Coast" (Abkhazia) is located 40 km from Sukhumi and 33 km from Gagra.

Climate and sanitation

The air temperature in this region is on the average +15 degrees, humidity - within 75%. From July to September comes the tourist season. Air in the summer months warms up to +23 degrees, and from the sea almost all the time a breeze blows, bringing freshness and coolness. The humid subtropical climate of the region is the main curative factor used in conducting health programs. On the basis of the health resort "Gold Coast" (Abkhazia), balneological procedures are being conducted, based on the use of medicinal properties of mud taken from available chloridonatrium, hydrogen sulphide and iodobromide sources. Sea water, saturated with minerals and salts, has a huge health benefit. Guests of the boarding house are available water and mud treatment of the digestive system in Primorskiy spring.

Beach

Pension «Gold Coast» (Abkhazia) has its own beach (sand and pebble), located just 150 meters from the main building. It is equipped with sun umbrellas, sun beds, showers and changing rooms.

Food

In the dining room, which is in a separate building, guests are offered three meals a day. Also on the territory of the boarding house there is a cafe-shashlik, where you can enjoy national or traditional cuisine.
