Gaming activities of preschool children

In pedagogical literature it is stated that gaming is the main activity of the child. This, of course, is so, but not quite. More precisely, if you say that the whole life of children is a game. The child creates his own playing space in his imagination and does not think himself outside of it. He seriously talks with toys, with characters of fairy tales, in fact sees their silhouettes in his room. He believes that at night the toys come to life, and not only at night - just close their eyes.

Playing activities should accompany even the easiest process of training the baby. And at the same time, any game, no matter whether it is individual or group, mobile or quiet, role-playing or conducted in words, is for him and developing. Parents and educators should only determine what abilities and skills develop certain games. And already, proceeding from this, it will be easy to select didactic material, which helps to consolidate these skills.

It is believed that gaming activities aimed at development must necessarily be accompanied by the participation of an adult, planned in advance. However, just spontaneous game brings much more benefit to the child. It is very important for the development of the gaming activity of preschool children, to which they embark on their own initiative, alone or together with their peers. So the child can observe, draw conclusions, apply skills in practice.

Spontaneous game activity helps to disclose the creative abilities of the baby, stimulates his imagination. When he communicates with peers without the intervention of adults, he simultaneously comprehends the rules of the child's subculture that are not easy for him, acquires invaluable skills of life in society. Sometimes it may seem from the side that the baby is just looking at one point and dreaming or just shaking the doll, that is, from the point of view of adults, is losing time in vain. Still, do not interfere with it and switch to more "important" classes. But when he himself asks to play with him, it is advisable to postpone the endless household chores and give him time.

It happens that the preparation for the game takes more time than on the actual carrying out. It depends on the age of the child, because the younger he is, the less able to do one thing. Attention concentration increases with age.

There are also periods when the child prefers to play alone or only with peers. He chooses role-playing games and does not respond to the parents' requests to do something quiet and useful. In this case, do not worry, let alone panic. It is necessary to give the child time, and he, having learned from an independent game something important, new to himself, will turn to developing games, but with pleasure, not compulsion.

There are also children who seem to be not interested in anything, they can not be "ignited", they are in the world of their fantasies. These kids, too, should not be pulled and rushed. As a rule, they catch up with their peers in reading, the account a little later. If such a child falls behind in some subject, he will prove himself in other areas (for example, in music, singing, dancing, drawing or in another form of creativity).

When playing activity in kindergarten, the educator needs to arrange everything in such a way that each of the participants will win at least once. If there is an opportunity for the winners to be awarded, then the prizes must be prepared quite the same. In team games there should be an equal distribution of forces. If children are very small, an adult participant must be included in each team.

While preschoolers have time before boring lessons, educators and parents should try to fill it with cognitive, fun games, interesting events and discoveries.
