"Game of Thrones", Lisa Arren - actress Keith Dickey

Liza Arren - a colorful character from the famous series "The Game of Thrones." Almost from the first minute of his appearance in this TV project, the mistress of the Valley and Robin's mother causes irritation and hatred in the audience. What can you tell us about the heroine and actress who brilliantly embodied the uneasy image of a slightly crazy lady?

Lisa Arren: prehistory

The future lady of the Valley was born in the River Lands. This region, under the control of the Tally family, is part of Västerås, a fictional kingdom in which the lion's share of the series's events takes place. Liza Arren is the daughter of Lord Hostster Tally and his wife Minisy. She lost her mother early, which died shortly after her birth. Liza has a sister, Katilin and brother Edmur.

The second daughter of Hoster Tully was still a child when her heart was kidnapped by Petir Beilis - a boy from a poor family, whom the ruler of the River Lands took as a pupil. Unfortunately, Petir did not pay much attention to the girl in love, since he gave preference to Katilin. It's no wonder that Lisa Arren hates her older sister since childhood, blaming her for all her misfortunes.

First husband

The second daughter of Lord River Land dreamed of becoming the wife of Petir Baileish, but such a misalliance did not suit her father. Therefore, the girl was forced to marry a lord, an alliance with which her family needed. John Arren - the first husband of Lisa, their marriage took place during the uprising of Robert Baratheon. The ruler of the Valley (one of the regions of Västerås) was one of the leaders of the uprising, the purpose of which was the overthrow of King Eiris Targarien, whose madness was no longer in doubt.

The rebels needed the support of Lord Hoster and his army. For the conclusion of the military alliance, Lord John was forced to marry Liza, while Eddard Stark took her older sister Katilin to marry. Victory in a bloody war was won by the army of Robert Baratheon, after which John became a right-hander.

Lisa Arren was not happy in marriage. The spouse chosen by the father was about forty years older than his wife, and also treated her coolly. The only consolation was the son of Robin, the other children died in infancy. For 17 years Lisa lived with her husband in the Royal Harbor.

The Death of John Arren

The fatal role played by this heroine in the events of the series "The Game of Thrones". Lisa Arren agreed to become the wife of old John under the pressure of her family, but she did not cease to love Peteira. It was she, using the opportunities of her husband, helped Baileish make a dizzying career in the Royal Harbor, to become a master over the coin managing the money of the crown.

It was Petir Beilish who persuaded the woman, who became his secret mistress, to poison John Arren. After the death of her husband, Lisa fled to the Eagle's Nest, which is the Arren family castle, taking the young son Robin. She began to rule the Valley as a regent with a minor child, promoting the policy of isolationism.

Petir made Lisa not only get rid of Lord John, but also wrote a letter to Sister Keitilin, in which she blamed Lannister, the rich and powerful race to which Queen Sercea (the wife of Robert Baratheon) belongs. It was with this that the conflict between Starkov and Lannister started, which had sad consequences.

First season

For the first time Lisa Arren is mentioned in the first series of the TV project "The Game of Thrones". Katilin receives a letter from her younger sister, in which she tells that her husband John was poisoned by Lannisters, and she herself is forced to hide in the Valley and fear for the life of her young son. Learning this news, Eddard Stark decides to replace Arren as king's right hand, as he is persistently requested by the latter to conduct his own investigation.

Katilin Stark believes that Tirion Lannister was guilty of an attempt on the life of one of her younger sons, which occurred during the visit of King Robert to the family castle Stark. She was also inspired by this idea by Petir Bailish, who was trying to fan the conflict between two powerful families. Having met Tyrion on the way to Winterfell, Katilin takes the dwarf prisoner and brings her to the sister in the Valley. Lisa is infuriated when she learns of this act, but still claims that Lannister is now her prisoner. Only cunning helps Tirion to leave the Valley alive.

Katilin is horrified at how weak and pampered the son of Lisa Arren is growing up. Surprise her and the changes that occurred in the very sister, turned into a hysterical, suspicious and evil lady. Lisa flatly refuses to help her sister when she finds out about the capture of her husband in the Royal Harbor. Lady of the Valley states that the task of her knights is to protect her son, and not to participate in the battle of Stark and Lannister.

Fourth season

Next time spectators meet this colorful heroine already in the fourth season of the show. After the assassination of King Joffrey, Baylisch helps Sense Stark (the youngest daughter of Keitilin) to escape from the Royal Harbor, where she is forcibly kept. He brings the girl to the Valley, where he is already looking forward to Lisa. After this, Petir marries the mistress of the Eagle's Nest, still in love with him.

Becoming Beilish's wife, Liza still does not believe in his love. She suspects that he feels feelings for Sansa, who is very much like Katilin in her youth. Her suspicions are strengthened when she finds him kissing her niece. Lisa threatens Sansa with death, but in the end herself dies at the hands of her husband Petir. As a result, power over the Valley passes into the hands of Baileish, since the young lord is not able to rule on his own.

Actress and her role

Not all spectators were satisfied with what Lisa Arren looks like in the series. The actress, who was approved for this role, outwardly looks like its complete opposite. In the book, it seems puffy and heavy, in the series it is lean and pale.

If you believe the actress who embodied this image, she is delighted with her role. Kate claims that she always liked to play unhappy, offended by the fate of the heroines. Especially she likes the way the plot line of her character suddenly breaks off.
