Until the end, an unsolved mystery, or Who killed Laura Palmer

In the early 90's, the whole country, with bated breath, enthusiastically began to watch the series, radically different from the usual lingering Latin American soap operas. It was an American mystical multi-series film "Twin Peaks", which really stirred up the minds of different generations. And perhaps the most pressing question of that time was the question of who killed Laura Palmer.

The action takes place in a small town called Twin Peaks, located near the Canadian border. A local fisherman, who every morning enjoyed fishing in a small river, discovered on the shore a corpse wrapped in polyethylene. Frightened, he calls the sheriff. He comes along with his assistants and, opening a terrible package, discovers that the body belongs to a local beauty, the daughter of a respected lawyer in the city, seventeen-year-old Laura Palmer. Of course, that the beginning of the film "smacks" a banal detective, but everything was not so simple. Almost to the junction, no one knows who killed Laura Palmer. The death of this girl allowed to penetrate into the most terrible secrets that kept the town and the gloomy forests surrounding it. The film is so permeated with mysterious and inexplicable events that even after the end of its viewing the feeling that everything is just beginning does not leave.

A lot, but not all, explains Laura Palmer's secret diary, which the police and friends of the girl are looking for throughout the series. The book with the same name formed the basis of the full-length prequel "Twin Peaks: Fire, go with me." If we start from the entries in the diary, it might seem that the girl could have avoided death if, as a child, she had not accidentally found her parents making love. We can assume that she was so shocked by this picture that the resulting stress and served as its peculiar "split personality". After all, it was after this moment Bob began to come to her, who mocked her, accustomed to pain and preparing for death. Laura Palmer (photo) in her diary wrote that Bob wants to get her soul, otherwise he will continue to torture and rape her. A few years the girl lives, torn by pain, which is a little drowned by drugs and sex. Despite all this, she has not yet completely degraded: in her soul there is still room for kindness and the desire to help others. She came up with and realized the idea of "Lunch on Wheels" (she brought her food to elderly people); She taught English to the owner of a local sawmill, the Chinese woman Josie; She was a nurse for 26-year-old idiot Johnny - the son of local tycoon Benjamin Horn. In addition, she was a clever, excellent student and a recognized beauty. So it just did not fit in my mind who killed Laura Palmer? Who was able to take this wonderful girl's life?

Even when it becomes clear that the murderer was her own father, there still remains a whole bunch of unsolved mysteries. And did his father actually kill her? Or, be Maybe it was Bob, who sat in him, a kind of dark entity from the other world? He wanted to move into Laura's body to continue killing, as he had done for more than a hundred years. But the girl preferred to die. She did not care what he did with her body, but she wanted to save her soul, so she let him kill herself.

Despite the fact that the series is more than 20 years old, it still remains almost the most mysterious in the history of cinema, as well as the already rhetorical, the question of who killed Laura Palmer.
