Frother milk, or cappuccino - what is it?

Foaming milk is a special device that is designed to whip up a stand and a very tasty milk foam. Basically, such equipment is used before consuming a variety of coffee beverages: latte macchiato, latte and cappuccino.

A modern milk frother, whose reviews mention only its positive qualities, can be of several types: in the form of a nozzle (attached to coffee machines) and autonomous. The principle of operation of the nozzle on the machine is based on a simplified design of the atomizer, with which steam begins to mix with milk. The result is a persistent milk froth.

What is their difference?

The difference between these two types of foaming agents is that the nozzle can only work together with the coffee machine. In it, there is an adjustment of the clearance of the opening, through which liquid enters the milk frother. Also, this type of equipment has a tube, which must be placed in milk. Due to the pressure in the atomizer, the milk from this container moves quickly, and, being tightened into the blowing agent tube, it mixes with the steam.

In the second type, the milk is foamed in a special container, where there is a special spring made of stainless steel and driven by an electric motor. This motor with the rotation of the spring saturates the milk with bubbles. Then you should turn on the cappuccino itself, and in a few minutes you will get a tough and tasty milk foam.

In addition, the milk frother can be unheated and heated. Also, what is very important, modern kapuchinators do not require any special care, since such a device is quite easy to disassemble - you just need to remove the glass from the cup holder and remove the lid. It must be washed in a dishwasher or manually under a faucet, and the lid and atomizer in warm water. It happens that there is a little milk product left in the foaming agent, which could be used later. In this case, you can leave a container for milk in the refrigerator.

It is noteworthy that some milk blowing agents have many advantages over other systems. For example, you can dose the amount of liquid, depending on your requirements, and adjust the density of the foam, given your personal preferences.

Disadvantages of foaming agents

But also we consider it important to warn you about some of the shortcomings that a milk frother may have. So, the main disadvantage of a cappuccino is that you can not exactly control the amount of milk foam that is ready, as it is beaten in a jug, after which it is manually poured into a cup, and not immediately fed into it.

Influence on foam can render and temperature of the liquid. For example, cold milk is suitable for models of foaming agents that work with steam or other heating methods. If you have a more simple blowing agent model, the milk needs to be preheated in advance, as this will ensure you an excellent quality milk froth.

The milk temperature should be more than 40 degrees, as a result of which the stability of the foam is ensured. But whatever it is, it is important that the milk is not very hot, because already at 60 degrees it can start to curl up. But such milk is not for everyone to taste!
