Electric Train Kharkov - Lozovaya: number of flights, distance and travel time

Kharkov and Lozovaya are the two largest cities in the population of the Kharkiv region. Therefore, the movement of passengers between them is quite intense. The transport connection between these two settlements is provided, in particular, by the Kharkov-Lozovaya suburban train. How often does it run?

Electric Train Kharkov - Lozovaya: timetable and traffic schedule

Krasnopavlovka, Pervomaysky, Merefa ... Thousands of people from these and other settlements of the region regularly go to Kharkov to work, study, on official or personal matters. And the most popular and popular means of transportation for these people is the Kharkov-Lozovaya train. This suburban train is so popular that in June 2015 the leadership of the South Railway (South Railway) decided to launch another additional flight on this route.

To date, on the route Kharkov - Lozovaya, five pairs of suburban trains run daily. From the regional center (Kharkov-Passar station), the train leaves at 3:34, 8:29, 11:05, 12:55 and 18:44, and from Lozovaya - at 4:29, 6:02, 8:40, 13 : 09 and 15:30. The schedule of movements of electric trains can be changed, therefore it is better to learn about the current schedule at the corresponding railway stations.

In addition, you can get to Lozovaya from Kharkov on some other electric trains. These can be commuter trains: Kharkiv - Kramatorsk, Kharkov - Dubovo, Kharkov - Gusarovka or Kharkov - Gavrilovka.

The electric train, following from Kharkov to Lozovaya, overcomes almost 150 km. The average travel time is 3.5 hours. The high-speed train (flight No. 7009) overcomes this same distance in just 2 hours and 46 minutes.

This suburban train on its way passes through 36 stations. The largest of them are Novoselovka, Yuzhny, Komarovka, Merefa, Borki, Spasov Skyt, Shironino, Likhachevo, Belyaevka, Krasnopavlovka, Panyutino.

Lozovaya is the second largest city in the Kharkov region. Here live almost 70 thousand people. The name of the city comes from the word "vine", which has always been a lot on the banks of the local rivulet.

In Lozovoy there are two dozen industrial enterprises. Here is the largest railway junction of the country, running a large locomotive depot. From Lozovoy railway branches come in four directions. On suburban trains (without transfers) from here you can reach Krasnograd, Kharkov, Poltava, Dnieper, Slavyansk, Kramatorsk.

From Kharkov to Lozovaya by train: attractions and places of interest

What can interest the traveler on the way from Kharkov to Lozovaya? Tourist attractions on this route is not very much.

So, a few kilometers to the east of the station Bespalovka, in the vicinity of the village of Kazachka, the territory of the Gomolshanskie Lesa Nature Park begins. This area is called one of the most picturesque places in the whole left-bank Ukraine. Lakes, steep cliffs and cliffs, pine forests and flowering succulent meadows - all this can be seen in the Gomolshansky forests. By the way, these places were declared reserved even in the time of Peter the Great.

Ancient Merefa can also interest the tourist. According to one of the versions, it was here that the outstanding Cossack ataman Ivan Sirko was born. On the outskirts of the city there is a curative spring, the water from which helped restore the vision of Ukrainian writer Grigory Kvitke-Osnovyanenko. In Merefa itself you can see a beautiful brick church - an architectural monument of the late XIX century.

But the most interesting object on the railway line Kharkov - Lozovaya is the Skyt Skyt station. After all, it was here in 1888 that the imperial train crashed, transporting Alexander III from Moscow to Sevastopol and his entire family. In this terrible accident, 21 people were killed. But the emperor and his whole family miraculously survived.

In honor of this event, in 1894 a church and a chapel were built near the track. During the Second World War the complex was badly damaged. In the 90s the chapel of the monastery was restored.

Suburban train Kharkov - Lozova enjoys great popularity among passengers. After all, it connects a number of cities, towns and villages of the Kharkov region with the regional center - the largest city of Eastern Ukraine.
