Dmitry Gordon is the author of 46 books. In the 8-volume "Heroes of troubled times", over which Gordon worked for more than one year - a description of the fate of significant personalities, among them - Alexander Abdulov, Mikhail Zhvanetsky, Olga Aroseva, Rolan Bykov, Yuri Bogatikov, Anatoly Kashpirovsky. With him the conversations are collected in a separate volume. In the process of work, Dmitry Gordon made friends with many of the characters in his programs. He maintains cordial relations with Ian Tabachnyk, Vyacheslav Malezhik, Vakhtang Kikabidze, Roman Viktyuk, Oleg Bazilevich.

Dmitry Gordon is a versatile person and managed to even light up in the movies, starring in an episodic role in the Dau film work dedicated to the Soviet physicist Lev Landau.
