The reasons for developing cirrhosis of the liver, its symptoms, incidentally, are similar to the symptoms of hepatitis, cause such factors: malnutrition, infection, granulomatosis, alcoholism (25% infected). And also the causes of cirrhosis are hepatitis (80% infected) and cryptogenic cirrhosis (10% infected), in which there is no explanation for the appearance of the disease. The most severe form of cirrhosis is alcoholic cirrhosis.

In all cases, the liver increases in size.

In general, the symptoms of the disease depend on the stage of the disease and the activity of the inflammatory process. Studies show that 60% of infected people are characterized by a clear picture of the manifestation of cirrhosis, 20% of people have a latent course of the disease, and the remaining 20% are unaware of the disease and find it during physical examinations.
