Curfew in the summer - what is it?

In every country in the world there is a curfew in the summer, after which minor children can no longer walk around the city without their parents. In today's article, we'll tell you what it's for, and at what age you can forget about this strict ban.

The curfew in the summer is most often called the forbidden time. It exists in order to protect residents of a certain city and to reduce the level of crime and the number of victims. Usually, underage children are obliged to obey the curfew, especially minor children, who (for their own safety) are not allowed to appear on the streets of the city after a fixed time. However, curfews can be extended to the general population, that is, adults, if the situation so requires. Usually, such situations are the introduction of a state of emergency and wartime regime, when it is very dangerous to be on the street at night. Observance of the rules of the curfew is monitored by special police detachments and military patrols that bypass the city during day and night. If we talk about Russia, then the curfew in the summer comes at 23:00 Moscow time, and in the winter - at 22:00. After the onset of this time, if the police notice a teenager on the street, his parents face a fairly large fine for failure to comply with the existing law.

However, not all citizens of the Russian Federation are aware of the curfew law, many do not even have a clue what exactly they are talking about. That is why very often minor children (adolescents) become victims of all kinds of crimes, robberies and violence. In order to protect loved ones from similar troubles, it is necessary for every citizen to know at what age children (namely, how many years) the curfew spreads, and after what time they can not go out. First of all, this law needs to be studied by the parents of minor children, since they are responsible for the destiny and well-being of their child. In case of violation of the law, it is from them that law enforcement officers will first of all ask. Further we will get acquainted with this law and tell you what its essence is.

The law of the Russian Federation "On measures to prevent child neglect and juvenile delinquency" was officially adopted and published in all newspapers on May 20, 2008. According to him, children under 7 years are strictly forbidden to be in the dark on the street unaccompanied by their parents. Especially it concerns such places as clubs, sports and beer bars, and also other entertaining establishments. Children up to the age of 14 can be on the street without adults allowed until 22:00 Moscow time. This is what happens? If the child is 13.5 years old, he is obliged to observe the curfew. From the age of 14 - walk where and when you want ?! After the publication of the above-mentioned law, many parents began to write to law enforcement bodies (and on forums) that 14 years is absolutely not the age at which a child can already walk around the streets at night. However, there were no amendments to this law. If we talk about the current situation, the curfew in the summer lost all meaning, since this is the time of the year when all the children want to stay on the street for as long as possible. What will happen next - time will tell.
