Cultivation of mulberry ducklings on the backyard
Ducks mullard - a breed derived by crossing the musk and domestic white Peking duck. This hybrid is completely sterile. True, females carry eggs, but not fertilized. This broiler variety is bred for getting meat and liver. Cultivation of ducklings of this breed is not too difficult, as they usually have excellent health. In addition, this cross is very productive, and its meat has just fine taste qualities. It is much more difficult, in fact, to bring out the ducklings.
Successful cultivation of mulberry ducklings is possible only if appropriate conditions are created in the room where they are kept. Before hatching, the shed must be carefully prepared. The floor is preliminarily sprinkled with lime at a rate of half a kilogram per square meter. Then arrange a litter layer of sunflower husk or sawdust. Its optimum thickness is 15 cm.
Cultivation of ducklings of this breed does not differ at all from the brooding of any broilers. Hatched hatchery chicks themselves are able to do very poorly. Therefore, at first they need a little help. To do this, each duckling in the beak instilled a weak solution of potassium permanganate (a couple of drops) and poured on a smooth, unpolluted surface crushed egg yolk. You can use the usual plywood for this purpose.
Those wishing to breed this breed should know that growing ducklings has some characteristics. The main thing is that the chicks should get a lot of greens. It can be started to be added to the feed of the mullards on the third day, after cutting it finely. Further, when the kids grow up a little, they can be walked around.
A few days after the mulberries try the first grass, you need to gradually begin to introduce into the diet and other products - crushed stone, boiled potatoes, whey, etc. Cultivation of ducklings of crosses is made up to 60 days of age. Then they have juvenile molt and growth stops, and therefore continue to feed them seems inappropriate. And to process carcass overexposed ducks is more difficult, because for the third month of growth they begin to form feather hemp. In this case, they completely lose their presentation.
Thus, if certain rules are followed, just excellent broiler ducklings can be bred. Growing them requires a certain amount of experience and patience, but nothing particularly difficult is different.
