Cultivation is a way of growing
Cultivation of plants is the cultivation of plants or plant cells in artificial conditions. Cultivation is necessary for mastering and increasing yields. Currently, there are several methods of plant breeding, consider modern technology and agrotechnical method.
Modern technology
There is a breeding of plants in the absence of an unfavorable environment and pests, created comfortable (sterile) conditions for plant growth. Each of them, of course, needs water, light, a certain humidity and temperature, as well as the artificial substrate in which they are grown. All this can be created artificially.
The technique is not new, but there is a new technical capability that is more cost-effective. It is necessary to maximize the production of products during cultivation and minimize losses, including storage conditions. This technology is called hydroponic. New cultivation is new technologies.
It is in the application of hydroponic systems installed inside sealed hoses. Inside, an optimal environment with a microclimate is created, which contains only useful nutrients. To maintain sterility and not to break the tightness, since it is very important for undesirable effects on plants, all care work is carried out with the help of special equipment operating in automatic mode or controlled by the operator.
Benefits
This technology is good because the grown products are ecologically clean, without parasites, not damaged and do not require pre-heat treatment. In the grown foods contain both vitamins and nutrients. The hydroponic system is also good in that people are freed from heavy labor when fully automated. The environment also benefits - the amount of waste and industrial wastewater will decrease. That is, cultivation is a plus not only for humans.
Agrotechnical cultivation
It's an old way. This method is the most common and used everywhere. In this case, to ensure that the plants grow well and yield high yield, a number of agronomic measures must be observed.
After watering, the soil is compacted and does not let in air, so it must first be prepared (dig) to a depth of 20-25 cm, trying not to touch the podzol - an infertile layer. Every autumn and spring, it is also necessary to dig up the soil, preparing it for planting.
After the germination of plants, it is necessary to weed the weeds that muffle the seedlings, and also the cultivation involves periodically loosening the soil so that air exchange takes place and there is no stagnation of moisture. The agrotechnical method also includes, when cultivating plants, the introduction of organic and mineral substances into the soil for the favorable development of seedlings. And also, in order to avoid infection of plants with pests, it is necessary to make periodic processing.
Application of methods
Both methods of cultivation are used for both cultural and ornamental plants. In some cases, their use allows not only to increase yields or other quality indicators. Thus, cultivation is also a scientific development, thanks to which numerous selection experiments and tests are possible. In the future, they are able to bring great benefits to humanity.
Cultivation of microorganisms is the same way of cultivation as in the case of plants. Both are great breakthroughs of scientists and of all mankind as a whole.
