Corn cooked, the recipe of which will be described below, is a very nutritious product that contains a really huge amount of substances beneficial to the body. The cooking time can vary greatly. Everything depends on the selected corn variety, and also on the degree of maturity of its cobs. In one case, only 10 minutes will be enough, and in another there will not be enough for an hour. Fodder corn is most common. But it is the grade called "sugar" that is the best option. Be sure to pay attention to the color of the cob. If the corn is young, then it has a light yellow hue. And such an option will be prepared much less.

The recipe for boiled corn is very simple. Preparation does not take much time and energy from you. But there are several options. After all, today there are many different techniques that are designed to make life easier for the housewives. For example, a double boiler. With its help, you can quickly and without any effort prepare delicious corn. In order to get this dish, you need to get rid of the leaves and hairs on the ear once. Corn is cooked this way very quickly. You only need 15 or 20 minutes. Readiness is checked for taste. Just pinch one seed and try. Ready-made corn cooked, the recipe of which provides for the use of a double boiler, becomes soft, juicy and sweet.

If you are not a supporter of such progress in the kitchen, take an ordinary saucepan. You will also need table salt and sugar (about 1 tsp per 1 liter of water). Note that this method is used only in the case of young corn. Old cobs should be cooked exclusively in fresh water. Otherwise, the grains will turn out to be even tougher and completely unattractive. Young corn is cooked for about 10-30 minutes. The old one is 30-60. At the end of cooking, rub the cobs with salt. In this case corn cooked, the recipe of which we have considered, will acquire a rich and vivid taste.

If you do not want to wait that long, then use the microwave. In it, too, you can cook corn. Put a container with cobs there (if not placed, cut into parts, this taste will not suffer from this). In the bowl, you can add a little water. Set the timer for about 10-20 minutes, depending on whether you are young or old corn. Cooked (the recipe recommends still using the first option, since there are more vitamins) in any case it will turn out soft and very tasty. Therefore, it is possible to use corn of any degree of maturity.
