The Chinese company Brilliance Auto in 2007 presented at the Beijing Motor Show a new car - Brilliance M1, after which it was immediately planned to release the next model. But, unlike the first, it failed the crash test, and therefore its release was postponed until 2008. During this time, the developers had to eliminate the shortcomings and improve the safety of the machine. This model, as you guessed it, was the Brilliance M2.

Appearance

The car has dimensions slightly larger than the average: 4.6 meters in length, 1.8 in width and 1.4 in height. Its shape is typical for a sports car: swift and at the same time gracefully smooth. It is slightly shorter compared to the previous model, which increases maneuverability and dynamism.

Brilliance M2 is equipped with rear and front disc brakes, power steering, side and front airbags, as well as front and rear fog lights.

Interior design

Their power, respectively, is one hundred and forty-eight and one hundred and sixty-eight horsepower. Several cars were already equipped with these engines, however, only in the Chinese market. The model described in the article is also sold in the Celestial Empire, but under a different name - Brilliance M2 JunJie.

Simultaneously with the new gasoline engines, a diesel engine was also created. The cars equipped with them are intended only for export to Europe. In addition to the diesel, they are equipped with an automatic transmission with four steps. But the Chinese versions have a mechanical transmission, in which there is one more, the fifth gear.

If you doubt the purchase of this car just because it was manufactured in China, then boldly give up prejudice. After all, this time the industrious Chinese could make a worthy model.
