Boilers gas industrial: production, device, life

Boiler equipment that operates on gas fuel is available to customers in a wide range. Modern models have many differences among themselves in both design and functional filling. Device assembly

Most industrial models are designed for heating industrial buildings, workplaces and shops. These tasks are subject to the design of boilers. Its main element are rod burners. As a rule, a group of parallel-going rods is used, in each of which there are openings for removing the fuel-air mixture. In the process of mixing with air, a flame forms, which evenly spreads heat throughout the area. Also, the arrangement of an industrial gas boiler may include a water-tube heat exchanger, which is heated as a result of the combustion of the gas mixture.

There are also more complex units, which are equipped with torch gas burners. The peculiarity of such models lies in the fact that the entire basic design, together with the fan, is installed on the front side of the case. In the same boiler, there is a nozzle, which, in fact, is the source of the spread of flame and heat. In the market, industrial gas boilers with torch burners are available in two-way or three-way versions. The most powerful of them are able to provide water heating up to 115 ºС, and also produce high-temperature steam. At this point, it is worthwhile examining in more detail two main types of such equipment - steam and hot water models.

Steam Models

This category of boilers is designed for steam generation. Most enterprises that use steam in the process require high pressure. Therefore, the performance of such equipment is composed of temperature and pressure. Most of the gas industrial steam boilers are units that generate vapor with a capacity of at least 0.25 t / h by means of fire-tube structures. Depending on the requirements of the enterprise, you can choose models with higher power. As a rule, the maximum reaches 55 t / h. The pressure indicators, in turn, can be up to 30 bar, and the temperature regime - up to 300 ºС. Modern models are characterized by their ability to work on various types of liquid and gaseous fuels. It will not be superfluous when choosing to take into account the additional provision of equipment in the form of deaeration devices, dispensers and bubblers.

Water-heating models

Models with hot-water supply are characterized by symmetrical arrangement of heating surfaces, but, as in the case of steam units, they operate on the principle of one- or multi-pass of the combustion product. At the same time, it is worth noting the multifunctionality and versatility with which gas industrial boilers are endowed. The photo below, in particular, illustrates a water-heating model that can work not only on a gas source of fuel, but also on a diesel engine.

When choosing such boilers, it is important to pay attention to the material of manufacture. In many respects the reliability of the equipment, its safety and as a consequence, the price depend on it. In some cases, the performance of water-heating devices, such as the pressure level (maximum about 16 bar), and the heat output, which varies on average from 0.7 to 35 MW, come first.

Assortment in the market

At the moment, however, most of the models available on the market belong to foreign brands. This, for example, the units from the German manufacturer Bosch, which supplies models with the ability to work on both gas and liquid fuels. Also worthy of attention is the Babcock Wanson model with a maximum output up to 1757 kW. For large enterprises it is worth noting the products of the Belgian company Prestige. It produces installations from several hot-water boilers, characterized by high reliability and a working resource.

In turn, industrial gas boilers of Russian production are available in the lines of Turbopar, Gorgaz and Aguna. The factories of these enterprises are engaged in mass production, including high-power units up to 3.6 MW. Models are distinguished by the availability of automatic systems, a variety of designs and the ability to adapt specifically to the requirements of the installation site.

Nuances of maintenance

The long-term use of boiler equipment depends not only on the working resource laid by the manufacturer. To a large extent, it is determined by technical maintenance - its quality and frequency. Among the maintenance measures, the chimney is maintained in an optimal condition and regular inspection of all combustion systems is emphasized. Equally important is the cleaning of industrial gas boilers, for which the burner is located on the door. In this state, it can be opened left and right, allowing cleaning. This operation should be carried out regularly, but taking into account the intensity of operation of the equipment.

Operational period

Subject to the recommendations of the manufacturer, gas equipment can serve an average of 15 to 20 years. Again, the period of preservation of the working resource depends on many factors, including the materials used and the conscientiousness in carrying out maintenance. In this regard, the service life of industrial gas boilers is also important until the first cleaning is carried out. Usually this period is 3000 h. The need for overhaul is difficult to overestimate, but it should be done at large intervals - about every 3 years.

Reviews about boilers

Boilers that run on gaseous fuels are estimated by consumers according to different criteria. First of all, this is productivity - for example, most foreign models demonstrate working pressure, rather close to the officially announced. At the same time domestic gas industrial boilers have already proven themselves as safe, functional and at the same time aesthetically pleasing equipment. However, most models from major Russian manufacturers are deprived of the main advantage of our products - a lower price in relation to imported analogues. Also, to the weak points of the gas boilers on the market, many people consider the need to purchase an external boiler and problems with installing and operating a thermocouple.

Conclusion

Gas heating equipment is beneficial in many ways. First of all, this is the economic feasibility of using gaseous fuels. It is this factor that led to the urgency of replacing models that operate on solid fuel sources. However, it is not necessary to overestimate gas industrial boilers, because the nature of their work imposes a number of requirements for manufacturers and direct users. Mainly, these are strict safety standards that determine the increased strength characteristics of the equipment design. For users, in turn, restrictions of a different kind are imposed - in terms of nuances of content, operation and maintenance.
