The future actor was born on January 16, 1934 in the capital of our homeland, in Moscow. Interestingly, in fact, his name sounds like Vasil Lanovy, since the parents of the boy - Agafya Ivanovna and Semyon Petrovich - were Ukrainian peasants and lived for a long time in the Odessa region, in the village of Streamba. However, in 1931 they moved to Moscow. There after 3 years and their son was born.

In 1941, just a few days before the outbreak of the war, Vasily Lanovoy, whose biography is very interesting, went with his two grandmothers to Strimbu to his grandmother. His parents stayed in the rear, although before that they were going to come to the village to their children.
