So, today we will prepare potatoes in bacon in the oven. There are many modifications of this dish, because each hostess uses her own tricks to make it even more tasty and satisfying.

The classic recipe is generally very simple. You will need only two ingredients: actually, the potato itself (about 1.5-2 kilograms), as well as one package of chopped bacon (about 200 grams).

Potatoes, of course, need to be washed and cleaned. Next, each fruit should be wrapped in a piece of bacon. To potatoes in bacon in the oven to stick well and do not disintegrate, you can fix the meat with a toothpick. And too long pieces of bacon, in turn, can be wrapped in a "rose".

Then you have to put it all on a baking sheet, and on top to close tightly with special food foil. Put the baking tray in the oven, preheated to 200 degrees, for about 40-45 minutes.

As you can see, everything is very simple. However, you can slightly complicate this recipe and cook, for example, potatoes in bacon with cheese. For this, it is best to take processed cheese in plates.

Before baking potatoes, it should be boiled in uniforms (not peeling). You can check the readiness by piercing the vegetables with a fork: if it passes easily, you can proceed to the next stages of cooking, and if the action requires some effort, you need to leave the potatoes a little more to cook. After the potato is ready, it needs to be slightly cooled and peeled. Next, each fruit should be cut in half, put a plate of cheese on one of the halves, and then cover the other half with the other side. As in the first recipe, after that each potato should be wrapped with a ribbon of bacon.

Before you begin to cook the potatoes in bacon in the oven for this recipe, the pan should be lined with parchment paper so that the meat does not burn. And on top of the bacon for each potato should put a small piece of butter. The oven, again, should be heated to two hundred degrees. But the time required for baking, in this case will be much smaller (after all the potatoes are already ready) - about 15 minutes. Cheese should melt during this time, and bacon - a little fried.

There is another interesting recipe that will allow you to cook a delicious stuffed potato wrapped in bacon. To do this you will need the following ingredients: 6-8 large potatoes, 150 grams of cheese, 200-300 g of mushrooms, onion, 1 tablespoon of sour cream, milk, bacon, spices, salt, dill.

Carefully washed potatoes should be cut along into two halves and, after seasoning, send to boil in a saucepan. When the finished potatoes cool slightly, it will be necessary to remove the core with a teaspoon. But do not throw away the skins - they will be needed later. In a bowl, adding a little milk to the potato pulp, you need to make a mash.

Then you can do mushrooms. The most delicious is the potato in bacon in the oven, if you take the forest. They need to be thoroughly washed, cut into pieces and fried with a crushed onion in a pan. 5 minutes before they are completely ready, you need to add sour cream to them, and then mix.

Ready mushrooms should be mixed with mashed potatoes and grated in the same bowl of cheese. Next, it remains to pour only chopped dill, and then carefully mix the filling. Finally, it is necessary to stuff potato skins. You will get a kind of "boat" with stuffing. Each of them must be wrapped with a sheet of bacon, put on a baking tray, which put for 15-25 minutes in the oven.
