Aggressive and dangerous for human species of sharks

The seas and oceans of our planet are the habitat of a multitude of living beings. There are among them and predators, which, of course, include sharks. These fish are also the most ancient inhabitants of our planet. They appeared in terrestrial waters about 400 million years ago, that is, much earlier than dinosaurs. And to date, many types of sharks feel great in the sea. Scientists managed to count more than 350 of these species, and, in their opinion, this is not the limit.

The structure of the skeleton of these predators is unique. It consists only of cartilage, and there are no bones in these fish at all. Also, all kinds of sharks have unique teeth. They are large, sharp and jagged at the edges. These teeth are located in five, and even in seven rows. And if the shark breaks the tooth, then a new one grows in its place. Thus, each of them has up to six "lives". And with these teeth they are ready to tear and bite everything that at least reminds them of food.

But not all types of sharks are dangerous for humans. Only four of them "earned" themselves such a reputation due to unprovoked attacks on people, after which there were deaths. These are such species as the tiger, white, long-winged and tupory sharks.

And the first place in this rating belongs, undoubtedly, to the white shark. And this is not only due to the "black PR", which staged this shark media. After all, this kind of shark developed millions of years. And over the years he managed to become a perfect hunter. White shark thanks to a sensitive sense of smell can smell blood in the smallest concentrations at a distance of 5 kilometers. She also has a beautiful natural disguise. The blue color from above and the white from below make it invisible in the surface of the water. And her teeth, as well as the speed and strength of the attack, do not give the victim a chance to escape the attack. Usually, it strikes the victim from the bottom with a swift blow and makes a powerful bite. After this, the white shark sails to the side, and waits for the prey to bleed.

Other types of sharks, such as the tiger, long-winged and blunt, are also capable of causing deadly damage to humans. On the second place of this list is a tiger shark. It is very often found in bays, in the mouths of rivers, in shallow places near the islands. This shark comes close to the shore, and its attacks are mainly swimmers, surfers and divers. And although such attacks do not happen very often, there is no need to minimize the danger of this species.

A tupory shark lives near the coast of Africa, India and other third world countries. The statistics here are extremely weak. Therefore, the exact number of attacks on humans of this species of sharks can not be fixed. And, perhaps, the blunt shark is even more dangerous than the white and brindle shark. After all, it lives in shallow depths and near densely populated shores. Also often it enters the fresh water and appears on the shallows. Still she does not have such an easily recognizable appearance as other types of sharks. And often her attacks are written off to "a shark of an unknown species." Therefore, its place in this ranking of dangerous species is difficult to determine.

It is also difficult to determine the number of attacks on humans from the long-winged shark. She dwells in the open sea and off the coast appears extremely rarely. And most of the attacks on her part were committed during the First and Second World War. Then many ships and planes crashed in the open sea. And long-winged sharks were usually the first to be on the site of these crashes. There are cases when dozens of people were victims of this type during such catastrophes.

There are also cases when other sharks attacked people. These are such species as blue, silk, lemon and dark gray sharks. Also to this list include hammerhead, shark-mako and Galapagos shark. These predators are large enough and strong. And if a person finds himself in the wrong place and at the wrong time, he may be a victim of any of these species. And other individuals, which are smaller, can also cause people quite serious injuries. But this is mainly due to intentional provocations on the part of people.

Most of the attacks of sharks are attributed to their natural sense of curiosity. They, having met an unknown object on their territory, try to study it. And the only way they can apply for this is a bite. And usually after such a "survey" sharks immediately swim away. Also they mistakenly can take a person for a fish or seal. This usually happens in troubled waters, and suffer from these mistakes mostly surfers. But whatever the reasons for the attacks, a person from them can suffer very seriously, especially if they "hit the tooth" with a white or tiger shark.
